This is a ridiculous comment IMHO. McDonald's got rid of trans-fats because customers started caring more about stuff like that. They'd be doing even worse now if they hadn't changed. McDonald's has to compete in a world where people have more choices and are smarter about their health than they used to be.
Oh, grow up! They were pressured to change the lard by the health Nazi community in the same way the tobacco industry was killed by the same freaks.
If the food tastes good and not like cardboard, people will flock back.
You contradict yourself: “smarter about their health” == NOT eating @ fast food joints!!
‘Bout the only fries I enjoy anymore are Rally’s (seasoned). Everything else is limp, unsalted and tasteless.
I must disagree. Certainly it was not a good business move to turn their fries into something nobody wants to put in their mouth.
You are out of your mind and have no taste buds.
I quit eating their crap when they cut out the lard and all their food started to taste like cardboard.
If I want a healthy meal (that nobody spit in or dropped a booger in) with excellent ingredients I will cook it at home.
All fast food is just a convenience for lazy people, McDonald’s just happens to taste like crap.
I guess that explains why the McLean Deluxe was such a smashing success?
