I’m not so sure this isn’t all just a lot of stagecraft and he wasn’t told to get the hell out of the country. His father is basically a known terrorist, and no one who knows the facts thinks this was a clock or meant to appear to be a clock. This was a provocative move, probably orchestrated by the father to increase his political standing in the Sudan after being victimized by the great Satans in the US.
However much sympathy O personally has for muslims and the kid and the kid’s father, I doubt our gov, sick as it is, would allow this. Hence: create a wonderful cover story, treat the kid like a king instead of the used kid he is so muslims can’t sink their teeth into anything, stage a WH visit, and get this family out.
Just a theory. The optics vs the fact stretch credulity. (I know I know - everything we are doing these days stretches credulity ... but this ... is like a psychotic break ... the clock was a provocation, no one can argue differently.)
He has done his job and now he is going back to Moslim-world.
Either that or they know something we dont.
Remember the NJ teachers who reported muslim kids bringing cameras to school on 9/11 and the NYC muslim kids who were kept home from school on that day?
You can bet Obama is very sympathetic and had no desire for this little Muslim terrorist and his crumby family to leave the country.
My bet is they got a lot of unwelcome attitudes from their fellow citizens in TX. Maybe even threats.
