Regardless of who may be right or wrong on the current Trump/Bush keeping America safe debate, the bottom line is whose policies would you rather have in place going forward and which will keep America safer? Trump's deport and secure the border policy or Bush's amnesty and open borders?
Look in the mirror for caustic and nasty.
You’re about to choke on your bile.
How about Ted Cruz’ intelligence, gravitas and deeply held Conservative principles. How about his courageous fight against the Washington Cartel? Trump v. Bush is a sideshow which enlightens no one.
I’m pulling for Cruz, but Trump is no sideshow. Thanks.
Wiring should be winding.
Request should be revenue.
Do that, and see where it gets you.
Besides that no one in 2008 offered any hope, of both winning and positive substantial change.
Trump does. Cruz doesn’t. He won’t beat Hillary or Sanders.
So now basing one’s vote on the candidate’s record is a bad idea?
Not surprised, really...the other night someone told me that conservatism isn’t the answer any longer.
Tell you what, I’ll know where it will get me-—I’ll be able to look myself in the mirror. And I’m eminently fine with that.
Record of what? Winning?
Can’t be myopic... have to look at a big picture. The possibility of winning has to be a part of the picture or you throw your vote away anyway. I don’t see Trump as a compromise vote. It’s win - win in my opinion, based on his record.
Sadly, trump is no sideshow. He is a very serious and viable candidate. He has decieved many conservatives. If he decieved enough to win the nomination, his natural liberal bent could win many dammocraps. Especially labor dammocraps, the rank and file (the actual voters) who are not so fond of runaway illegal immigration.
LOL, yeah...because that's all that matters.
Don't bother offering me instruction. I'll never support Trump.
Thanks, MinuteGal.
I’ll be voting for Trump. We are in a crisis that will damage the future of our children and grandchildren. I know God is in charge of ALL things and that He has a hand in Trump running for President!
You will be able to look at yourself in the mirror with Hillary or Sanders as president and feel fine?? Interesting.
“Im pulling for Cruz, but Trump is no sideshow. Thanks.
You are correct, Trump is not a sideshow, but the dust-up between him and Bush does not seem to gain much when compared to the fight to save this nation. It is just what the reality show moderators are promoting.

I agree with you. I meant to say, perhaps not as clearly as I could of, that Trump v. Bush is what the reality show moderators of the debates encourage. It is a sideshow in that respect.
“Cruz would be an absolute genius pick for the Supreme Court. He shows he has the back bone and the principals to go there and fight the Activist Judiciary.”
I’d prefer Rudy Giuliani as AG in the Cruz administration.
“LOL, yeah...because that’s all that matters.”
That’s not all I said and you know it. Jesus could run and if he didn’t win he couldn’t fix what needs to be fixed. The candidate has to win to be able to do anything at all. So yes the ability to actually win the election is a big part of it. Cruz won’t beat Hillary or Sanders.
Obvkously you cherry pick to support your resentment and spite towards Trump. With that what it is don ‘t bother with instructions - I’ve looked at the big picture - from every side - and I’m supporting Trump.
Let's be honest, every other candidate R or D can be substituted for "Bush" in that question, and the answer is obvious. Trump!
Rooster is a very classy poster, especially in a reasonable debate. Possibly, Rooster’s dependably sunny disposition might wear out over time with the deliberately antagonistic and unnecessary vitriol by the dictatorial crowd against Trump. That might be another matter, but you have not taken that approach— that sort of look-at-me-with-my-hatchet-in-hand type, doing a swan dive. %:D
Yes, but the people are no longer entertained by actual reality. Bread and circuses is what sells the advertising.
Maybe, but this little dust-up over national security definitely shows the absurdity of Bush and the GOPe’s amnesty/open borders policy. And we can thank Trump for bringing it to the center ring in this campaign. It’s now the main event.
