Trump Touts His Competency Versus Bush 43: ‘World Trade Center Came Down During His Time’
Breitbart TV ^ | 10/16/15 | Pam Key

(snip)

Exchange as follows:

STEPHANIE RUHLE, host: In order to be the president of the United States, you have to be a leader. We have not seen your soft hand. We have seen your offense, but George Bush had to stand in front of America after 9/11, Barack Obama did after Sandy Hook. Help us understand who Donald Trump is as a man. I need to know that you will make us feel a safe and you will make us feel proud.

TRUMP: I think I have a bigger heart than all of them. I think I’m much more competent than all of them. When you talk about George Bush—I mean, say what you want, the World Trade Center came down during his time.

RUHLE: Hold on. You can’t blame George Bush for that.

TRUMP: He was president, OK. Blame him or don’t blame him, but he was president. The World Trade Center came down during his reign.”

It’s not like GWB stopped kissing Saudi butt after 911, on the contrary he ramped up his Saudi and Muslim butt kissing after the event.

People seem to forget that Bush and his NWO family are very unpopular. Reagan hated Bush SR.

Bush had been president for only nine months, for Pete’s sake.

And our borders had only been violent and lawless for 20 years prior to Bush and still are for Pete's sake!

He's an innocent bystander like everyone else in DC.

No more talk about Hillary's emails either!!!

This is the kind of talk that probably do Trump in...he just cant keep his big NYC mouth shut.

I don't think anyone who really supports Trump now really cares about this or his approval of Kelo or any other ridiculous thing he says or position he holds. They are supporting the man, not his policies.

Trump is charismatic and has leadership qualities, he also is a practiced and skilled entertainer and knows how to handle himself in front of a camera. No matter that he is mostly a populist protectionist rather than an actual conservative, a lot of people on the right are sold on the personality.

He didnt blame him.

““He was president, OK?” Trump replied. “Blame him or don’t blame him, but he was president. The World Trade Center came down during his reign.”

Words have meaning, nice try at spin though. If Jeb! can say things like “My brother kept us safe”, while trying to Trade on W’s name, Trump can point out facts. Breitbart Rule: Truth isn’t mean. It’s truth https://www.youtube.com/watch?...

and if illegals being deported were enforced, which Bush refused to do, (he in fact encouraged illegal immigration by being for amnesty like all the other 2016 candidates but Trump), he might have deported the terrorist who were here on overstayed visas.

thats why ALL ILLEGALS MUST BE DEPORTED WHICH ONLY TRUMP WILL DO.

In fact when it comes to policy, they mostly don't care - only trotting out his "evolved" conservative views to rebut charges that Trump is not and has never been an ideological conservative.

The beauty though is that every time you or anybody assaults Trump on not being "pure," we can easily do the same thing to, say, Cruz, Walker, Carson, who actually have significant problems on immigration and other issues. Everytime I point out Cruz's position on legalization, for example, I get irrationally bashed and insulted!

You guys undermine your own slander by supporting candidates who have worse positions than Trump!

there were numerous signs and signals that were missed by both the Clinton and the Bush administrations to terrorist threats against the homeland before 911.. pretty much what Trump said.. deal with it folks and move on with this nothing burger discussion...

the country is coming apart at lightening speed and neither Rubio, Fiorina, Bush or Carson are going to fix it...

I will tell you what's hard to watch, is Bush, Clinton and Obama allowing the U.S. to be completely over run with millions of illegals while pouring in tens of thousands of Muslims after 911, during war. All while Bush was suggesting totally unqualified minorities be given home loans, while bailing out criminals in Wall St., and banking industry. I could go on and on.☺

Btw ya think all of our dead and the maimed laying in neglected VA hospitals think Iraq was a "compassionate war?

How is that “truther” drivel? The Bush Administration did allow members of Osama Bin Laden’s family to leave this country while no Americans were allowed to fly, and they flew back to Saudi Arabia who funded and provided all 19 highjackers! That is just “the truth.” I was pissed about that then and I still am.

We should have bombed Saudi Arabia not Afghanistan or Iraq. Medina and Mecca should be uninhabitable.

I’m sorry but you have an 8 year old child’s mentality if you REALLY BELIEVE Saudi Arabia had nothing to do with Spetember 11, 2001.

15 of the 19 hijackers wear from Saudi Arabia.

OBL was from Saudi Arabia.

The 911 Commision REFUSES TO RELEASE to the public the 28 pages that, per the congress members that have seen it, said it says criminal elements within the Saudi Arabia government at minimum Quarterbacked 911 okay???

You choose to believe the certified on the record lying Establishment politicians and lame stream filthy Rats in the media, caught over and over again lying on an hourly basis, that leave the borders wide a$$ open and at the very same time have the Airport security harassing grandma nuns and melessing little children.

Do you really believe the congress represents the people? Think of all the people that were against the TARP (around 95%), and they still passed it. Haven’t you realize everything is the opposite of what they say?

For example, the Affordable health care act is not affordable. The Patriotic act, that violates the Bill of Rights and the U.S. Constitution, think of all the illegal NSA spying too, is not patriotic. Congress says they can Insider Trade and not get into trouble, but everybody else goes to prison.

How can you defend that? How can you think we have not turned into a banana republic? Oh what about Hillary Clinton? Do I even need to go there?

Put 2 and 2 together! Wake up and smell the coffee! We are about to lose our Free Republic from a bunch of Establishment/Globalist that want to wreck this country and bring in a world government!

How can you not see that is simply astounding!

I will tell you what's hard to watch, is Bush, Clinton and Obama allowing the U.S. to be completely over run with millions of illegals

The problem is just a couple years ago Trump was blasting Romney of all people for being too TOUGH on illegal immigration. And Romney was simply proposing to enforce eVerify so illegals couldn't get work and would go home. One of the cheapest, least easy to demagogue first steps towards dealing with the invasion of illegals.

Trump claimed that was too tough and cost Romney the Latino vote.

And now? Trump has done an amazing 180 and is supporting even tougher policies to deal with illegals including, apparently, rounding up and deporting illegal families which is especially easy to demagogue.

Trump, by his own admission, is whatever he has to be to get what he wants. He was a crony capitalist and funded Democrat campaigns when it suited him. And just FYI, the idea that this is necessary is nonsense - there are lots of conservative business people who would not have stooped to such things. Now that he is a candidate he "evolves" where necessary and says what he has to. What is he going to do/say as President? I can imagine a president Trump saying "well, those tough positions I took are what was required as a candidate. Now that I am President I wear a different hat and won't be doing those things I said I would".

Could go on, but you get the gist. If you don’t support these things, you are now an establishment stooge hoodwinked by or working for the GOPe.

Their use of personal attacks is very Alinsky-like.
