Wow.... known several blonde/blue Italians, but no Sicilians. That’s impressive.
One of my nephews married a woman whose dad was Irish, mother Italian. They had two beautiful daughters. Same as your cousin’s kids, one of the daughters looks 100% Irish, the other 100% Italian. I think those Euro ethnic families in NYC married ‘out’ a bit. My extended family probably contains descendants from 90% of the Western Euro countries. At least they all think of themselves as 100% American.
Ah, we have Spanish, Colombian, Irish, Polish...well, that’s about it lol.
But that’s from the Staten Island generation.
This next one will be MUCH different because they have moved to many different locations.
My nephews get a kick out of me because I’m still ethnic and they REALLY get a kick out of my uncles in their 80s :)
