Yeah— it is interpreted as praise. Praise for his book on Scots-Irish. But something warped this guy— and he IS a quitter, takes his ball and goes home. So something is wrong. Levin called him “melon head” tonight- said that was a reagan staff nickname. Cerebral, professorial in an Adlai Stevenson sort of way. Annoying.
If the Dems nominate Webb and the GOP nominates Bush, the Democrat nominee would be more conservative than the Rebublican.
