Ex-Virginia Senator Jim Webb is a Marine Vietnam veteran and a Navy Cross recipient. For a time he was Reagan's secretary of the Navy. He wrote a book called “Born Fighting” which is a history of the Scots-Irish in America. Webb voted for ObamaCare but later said he regretted it. Of the 5 candidates debating tonight Webb would do the least damage to the U.S. His chances are slim. Tonight is the first and last chance Webb has to distinguish himself in this race.

In his book “Born Fighting” Webb writes:

“The culture so dramatically symbolized by the Southern redneck [is] the greatest inhibitor of the plans of the activist Left and the cultural Marxists for a new kind of society altogether. And for the last fifty years the Left has been doing everything in its power to sue them, legislate against their interests, mock them in the media, isolate them as idiosyncratic, and publicly humiliate their traditions in order to make them, at best, irrelevant to America’s future growth.”

Excellent book— well written and researched. And absolutely true quote.

One can follow the agenda of the Left/marxists directly anathema to the Southern culture of patriotism, personal sacrifice, fighting skills, firearm skills and many other of what constitutes true Americans from the USA, and see why they are so aggressively trying to dismantle the South AND the South’s history and heritage.

Will watch Webb’s responses closely and see if he gets a dig in on the biotch designate and her commie perv husband.
It is a shame he is not running as a Republican, but his voting record is not conservative at all so there is that to ponder. Yet on culture and borders and language and the reality that this country was instrumentally created by Scots-Irish in the Westward expansion, politics, banking and a whole lot else.
