Obama Tells ‘60 Minutes’ Hillary Clinton Made Email ‘Mistake’

President Obama on Sunday called Hillary Rodham Clinton’s use of a private email server “a mistake,” but said it had not endangered national security and had been “ginned-up” into a political attack by Republicans eager to keep her from being president.

“As a general proposition, when we’re in these offices, we have to be more sensitive and stay as far away from the line as possible when it comes to how we handle information, how we handle our own personal data,” Mr. Obama said. “And, you know, she made a mistake. She has acknowledged it.”

The unreported story: WHY she didn't use the official account. ... she didn't want Obama using the emails against her, sandbagging her and leaking them to the press or other countries.

Plausible. However, if that was her concern, she should have rejected the job offer of SecState when Obama gave it to her.

The last thing the ONE wants is for the Clintons to be in the White House again. But he has no choice if one of his sock puppets does not run. As I have said from the start one day it will simply be announced that there was no wrongdoing. Those actually conducting the investigation in the FBI will be undercut to be sure. They will appear on FOX claiming their work was not done, they were pressured and/or they reached a different conclusion. It won’t matter a bit as Hillary will be trumpeting the VRWC.

What won’t be reversible is the damage already done, the fact that Hillary is still unlikeable, and the overall feeling that once again the Clintons are guilty but skated on a technicality.
