On Friday, anyone paying attention to the news got to see at least a hint of The Roseburg Moment. It doesn’t fit either the mainstream media nor Democrat establishment’s political narrative, so it didn’t get the full court press media coverage of an Occupy Wall Street or Black Lives Matter protest, but anyone concerned about the future of freedom in America should take note.
The Roseburg Moment saw a community that had been devastated in the UCC Shooting by what the MSM now calls “gun violence,” and instead of kowtowing to President Obama’s call for gun control, the people rose up and made their voices heard in a well attended public rally.

Yup, interesting that he landed somewhere and didn’t shoot his mouth off with some BS garbage.
I also saw a sign that some kid was holding that said GO Golf.

Nor would I think they would be likely to, given the way he has treated them.
The bigger factor was that he needed the Roseburg stop so he could charge his trip to the west coast to the taxpayers & not to the DNC fundraiser that he was attending the next day.
You’re exactly right. I said the same thing the day before he stunk up (or whatever the correct word is) Roseberg.

The last funeral date I saw was Oct. 17 .... of course, this late date inconveniently didn’t coincide with Obama’s fundraiser/trip to Seattle/San Diego for ‘whatever’ this weekend. David Jacques, editor of the Free Beacon in Roseburg stated in an interview Friday that there were 2 funerals that day. I saw a list - one for sure was listed at noon Friday .... there was one that said “private” with no date & maybe that was the 2nd one on Friday. Most of the rest were Sat/Sun although one had already taken place Thursday.
David Jacque, editor of the Free Beacon said he was going to try to find out who Obama met with. The media (including himself) had been totally kept out of and away from any details. It obviously wasn’t ‘positive’ press for Obama’s ‘comforter-in-chief’ act and with the protests going on, he evidently decided it really wasn’t the right time to lecture the country on his gun control agenda. But - he did get to fly across the country on the taxpayer’s dime ... so there! /sarc

He was being interviewed by BOR (Bill O’Reilly - somebody else in the family had the TV on & I caught the interview) & BOR said he wanted to follow up with him on what he found out. Jacque has been pretty outspoken, seems to be the face of the community so I would expect him to ‘make good’.

I am impressed by the courage of the people in Roseburg. They stood right in the tyrant’s face, on principle. There’s some hope for America after all.
