The U.S. military officer who headed a hearing in the case of accused deserter Army Sergeant Bowe Bergdahl recommended that the man held captive by the Taliban in Afghanistan should not be sent to a military prison, Bergdahl’s lawyers said.
In a memorandum issued on Friday, Lieutenant Colonel Mark Visger, the presiding officer at the so-called Article 32 hearing last month in San Antonio, recommended “non-judicial punishment” for Bergdahl, the lawyers said.

Visger will need to be held to account after a change in management in the White House. He should be given the same sentence as Bergdahl deserves.

Seems to have been involved as defense counsel a lot and also to have done a lot of legal assistance. Just the stooge Obola would want as hearing examiner in this kind of case. As a light colonel,he’s just itching to get a bird.

If Trump is elected that may very well happen, especially if a nuke goes off killing a 100 or so thousand people that can be traced to Iran, a nuke that came as a direct result of Kerry and Obamas treason.

I had read and had been told by those around me that this issue would be whitewashed to save Obama. I didn’t believe it at first, but now I do.
It is so obvious that Bergdoll is guilty and that it is being overlooked so as to make Obama look okay.
The man left his post. All the men who were with him testified against him. They spent days looking for him. Now we are led to believe that nothing took place?
This is terrible government. We had better be careful or we will give it all away like the German people did before the second world war. We are getting very, very close with Obama.
If they let this deserter go after men were killed looking for him the whole Military justice system is corrupt to its core and not worthy of any honor or respect.
Orders from above must be obeyed. If the leading LTC officer is told by the CIC to give him non judicial punishment, then he has no option than to obey the order. “Befehlen sind befehlen”, right? He took an oath to obey all orders and protect the constitution blah blah..... Since when did the politicians develop a conscience or care about the conscience of others?
