After call on House speakership, Romney calls Ryan 'man of ideas'

Former Massachusetts governor and Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney, after speaking with Representative Paul Ryan about the race for speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives, said on Friday that Ryan was a "man of ideas."

"I wouldn't presume to tell Paul what to do, but I do know that he is a man of ideas who is driven to see them applied for the public good," Romney said in a statement provided to Reuters after he spoke by telephone with Ryan, who is being urged to run for the top House post.

At one time I was a fan of both Ryan and Kasich - because they got into the nitty gritty of of the Byzantine tunnels of the budget and where money goes in this government.

I believe this understanding off how it all goes down financially is something very few people have and probably by design.

At some point both congressmen decided it was better to hop on the government gravy train than understand and reform it.

Once that happened they became the same as liberals just spending money we don't have on just on different things.
