Why San Francisco, of all God forsaken places?
NOT On ABC I won’t enjoy.
The modern fleet week has been there for 25 years, now. Over a million people show up for the air show. It’s a beautiful location with great weather. It has deep water so the big ships can be there.
That’s why.
Oops. Make that thirty five years.
1) SR-71 Blackbird
2) F/A-18 Hornet
3) F-117 Stealth "fighter" (decommissioned in underground bunker; wings/tail break off upon exceeding 735mph)
4) B-2 Stealth bomber
I used to take the kids out on the GG Bridge for the parade of ships. Awe inspiring.
God forsaken, you clearly have never been to one of the most beautiful places of his creation.
Nice place to visit, I guess, but I wouldn’t want to live there.
I remember being in San Francisco during Fleet Week way back in 97. Watching the Blue Angels over the bay is something Ill never forget.
I watched a flyover, or should I say a fly under while standing on the Golden Gate bridge. Attend fleet week, piss off a liberal.
Architecture, vistas and restaurants are tops in SF.
But its a city with very many bums, many of them aggressive.
The bums urinate and poop in very many places —you can see it.
It’s also fairly hard to raise kids in SF.
The city enjoys giving your car (very many) ticketss and finding parking is hard almost anywhere.
Cool! That mustve been quite a view.
I was standing on the beach staring in awe at the sight of those birds. Absolutely amazing.
When you mention Fleet Week in San Fran the population thinks enemas and sailor boys.
San Diego’s is better.
San Diego, the former home of the USS Ronald Reagan.
We love our military here.
Now you’re talkin’.
Heading for Charleston shortly. I love The Citadel too.
Check out a great YouTube of the 2007 airshow: “Blue Angel Solo: 3 days - 3 Sneak Passes”
.42 seconds of excitement! I love the first pass especially.
I know I didn’t post a link...I’m an idiot.
Thank you for your service to America.
