A concealed-carry license holder is cooperating with police after she opened fire on a shoplifter who was fleeing a Home Depot on Tuesday afternoon, police in Auburn Hills, Mich., said.
The shooting happened in the stores parking lot about 2 p.m., when Home Depot security was chasing a shoplifter in his 40s who jumped into a waiting dark SUV, said Lt. Jill McDonnell, an Auburn Hills police spokeswoman.
But when the SUV began to pull away, a 48-year-old woman suddenly began firing shots at the fleeing vehicle. The vehicle escaped but possibly has a flat tire, McDonnell said.
The woman who fired the shots has a license to carry a firearm and is cooperating with police.

ha ha! good for you.
your shirt is a bullshirt
Good one. I like it. I can live with myself. I am true to the Truth, you are on the wrong side of history and humanity. Good luck with the path you are choosing.
If attacked I would treasure having someone like you there to defend me. That is the safety we all rely on, people such as yourself.
I’d truly sad & depressing to see how yellow our society has gotten over years of programming.
I’ll be damned if I’m ever going to let an innocent get beated/abused in my presence....If it means jail for me—so be it!
Those who disagree can carry on and let the “authorities” do the clean up and draw the chalk.
God Bless You!
Having you wish me luck is like being carjacked and the perp says “Sorry, bro’” before he puts one in my back. And what’s worse, you’re proud of it. You’re what’s wrong with America.
I hear that Michigan requires that. Gun ownership is a right not a privilege, I know this, but I also know that it's a perishable proficiency. You must practice to keep up, plus you should know the reality about using a gun.
For example, having a gun doesn't mean you have a right to shoot at someone in the back who is armless and tried to rob you.
I know there are many people on this forum who disagree with me, but it seems like instructors, gun shops, gun clubs are in favor of instruction and practice opportunities.
I don't like the federal gov’t telling me to do anything, quite frankly, but I'd like the debate at the state level on this.
It infuriates me the way this clown and the other democrats jump at every shooting that is now on the MSM news agenda including FOX to publicize every shooting...AND WHAT'S WORSE NOT TO PUBLICIZE THE FACT THAT THE SHOOTER IS BLACK, OR MUSLIM OR LIBERAL ETC.
here is what you stand for from the arguments you have supported:
denying people the right to protect themselves
litmus tests for a God given right
persecution for what might have happened, not what actually occurred
majority rule over a moral minority
name calling and ostracizing of anyone who disagrees with you
sorry, but your position is the one that is un-American.
I have active Ranger as an instructor. We talk and go thru a number of scanarios regarding what to do in this or that situation. Clearly, you rarely have a confrontation needing force.
I was also taught that each round you fire probably carries a minimum price tag of ten thousand dollars.
I'm less concerned about being too bold than I am about being too cautious. Many times there are very few seconds available for decision-making.
The poster claiming that one cannot shoot an attacker in the back is over-simplifying, I think. Just because an attacker shows you his back does not guarantee that he is no longer a serious threat.
Did the shooter at the Waffle House shoot the robber in the back? Perhaps. I see no ethical problem with not issuing a warning to an armed robber threatening the lives of other people.
Similarly, the mere fact that an attacker is unarmed does not mean he is not a serious threat. I'm of average height and weight, 67, and pretty much recovered from some serious medical problems. I'm not going to take a beating that could kill me just because the attacker is "unarmed".
You wish!
And apparently you are delusional too.
FYI, WJR 760 AM radio reported this morning that your girlfriend is being charged with reckless discharge of a firearm. If I were you, I’d write a letter to the Oakland County Prosecutor expressing your opinion on the matter. Good luck, sucker!
it doesn’t matter what the prosecutor charges her with... though i did say that that would be the most it could be...
you called for years of probation i believe...
let’s see what the jury has to say...
you are still on the wrong side of history... and you don’t even see it.
sad really... i will pray that you come to your senses soon.
“wrong side of history”...You’re on the wrong side of common sense and logic. I do NOT “applaud” the reckless use of a firearm as you have.
i prefer to wait for the jury’s decision...
and expect an acquittal.
you on the other hand, are a lost cause, of closed mind, and sexist tendencies... perhaps latent homosexual desires...
but time will tell. here’s hoping you work it out before you hurt someone. they tell me it gets better for people like you...
What does she think she is, a cop?

You know who you are...
Woman arraigned in Home Depot shooting
If there is anyone in this thread that needs to work on their thinking it is not those who pointed out quite correctly this woman's actions were dangerous and she would face charges for them, but yourself.
.
True to your globalist core.
The trial is not over.
Her actions were exactly what the actions of any trained police officer would have been, and that will be easy to prove.
Put your elitist gun grabber hand in your pocket for safe keeping.
