Prayers needed for JustAmy. Hospitalized with appendicitis. [142, 178, 190,209, 215, 223, 230, 249]

Just received a call from her husband. Amy is in the hospital with appendicitis. He says she had been in pain for a couple days, then it got real bad last night so they called 911. Apparently it had burst. She's had surgery and is in the ICU now. He says she's doing better tonight and they might move her tomorrow.
Prayers on the way.

Lori, tell Amy that I have been praying for her and also tell her not to get discouraged even if she has to stay extra days. When Jack’s appendix ruptured it was long hours before he got to the operating room. He almost didn’t make it and they kept him for 12 days. As you know he’s been here a long time since then.

Done!! When I was texting her to pass on your message, Nan, she was texting me to tell me that she is going home today! She sounded so excited. So happy for her. Now she can start recovering in her own home, with her family to watch over her. :-)

JustAmy is HOME!! She came home yesterday but still has a lot of recuperating ahead of her. She says she is very tired and she will be receiving in-home nursing care for a few weeks. This illness has been very hard on her, but she is getting the best of care and is on the road to recovery.
She believes, and I believe, the prayers from everyone here made the difference. She thanks you and her family thanks you. I am sure Amy is anxious to thank you all herself, and I know she will as soon as she gets her strength back. <3
