From Jan 2011 to Oct 2015, Rubio missed 160 of 1,417 roll call votes, which is 11.3%. This is much worse than the median of 1.6% among the lifetime records of senators currently serving. The chart below reports missed votes over time.

csvet I call you one and I raise you one.
The majority of his missed votes are after he decides to run for Pres.
The Rube wanted no paper trail on these votes.
When Trump declares Rubio has a “terrible voting record” he often fails to explain that record includes this incredibly high % of absence in roll call votes. I’m left thinking Trump is talking about his “Gang of Eight” or something.
Mr. Trump, CLARIFY to the public Rubio’s miserable record of missed votes. The guy can’t be trusted and you, Mr. Trump, will not look like you’re just blasting random scatter shots.
Rubio was just trying to follow Obama’s footsteps.
I will never vote for Rubio.
There were a good number in 2014 as well, and does running for Pres absolve one of their duties in the Senate? Florida hired him to do a job, he is not doing it but I bet he is still taking his monthly paycheck.
John Kennedy missed 80 per cent Of the votes when he ran for President. No one cared. Find other points to justify your vote. I would vote for any one of the republicans running. Did you vote for Romney. If not, you
are one of those that kept Obama in foe eight years.
I find it interesting that these people scream Trump is not a Conservative when their leanings and policies are the ones not Conservative. They are the WSCoCCC crowd...not much different than Democrats
How many of us voted for Romney, Bush and others and had to hold our nose to do so because the RNC/GOP worked their magic with us unaware and left us no choice. This time we are aware, acutely aware and should therefore be smart enough not to tall for it. Every single one of the candidates other than Trump are for increased H1-B visa’s with no additional regulations to ensure Americans are not displaced. The H1-B program is fraught with corruption taboot. Watch this video: https://youtu.be/TCbFEgFajGU
He announced in Dec of 2014 - that’s where the chart takes an uptick. How do you expect someone to run without missing votes? What he said he’s done is to go back for important votes & ones where his votes might make a difference.
Cruz actually has a worse record
Take your BS to somebody else.
Regrettably, I did get stuck voting for Romney last time, but never again will I stoop so low.
I’ll say it again: Rubio WILL NEVER GET MY VOTE. I sure as hell don’t need to justify my vote choices to you!
There are two candidates I am willing to vote for and if neither of them get the nomination, I will watch this screwed up country burn to the ground from atop my very safe and well defended mountain. I will eat apple pie, go fishing and tend to my bees.

Says it all.....case closed. Take a hike Marco!
Lowliness is young ambition's ladder
Whereto the climber upward turns his face
But when he once attains the upmost round
He then unto the ladder turns his back
Looks in the clouds, scorning the bottom degrees
By which he did ascend.....

Nice:) There is also that loyalty thing that seems to be missing in Rubio;/
If you liked John McCain, you will love Marco Rubio.
I used to know a state senate leader in Michigan. He took great pride in never, ever missing a vote. He commuted about 100 miles. I was waiting for him on his office once and he was stuck in traffic. His staff was busy trying to reschedule a vote so he could keep his 100% record. He just made it.
That should not be unusual, but unfortunately it is. We elect those people to write law and vote. Not to attend dinners or fund raise or any of that other junk. Write law, debate it, vote on it and they are paid handily for it. It really is pathetic;/ What bugged me most about him however is using the EXCUSE of family commitments. I use an excuse like that when I miss a BBQ due to family commitments, not to miss work. Can you imagine telling your boss...oh sorry I couldn’t come to work, my family was having a BBQ;/
