If you think electing an “activist, loud and patriotic President to appoint” a SC Justice makes any damn difference, you are mistaken.
Since 1968 - 48 years - we have hade a Repub as president for 28 of those years. A Dem for just 20.
Not only is Roe v. Wade the law, so is Obamacare. And queer marriages have now been ruled as legal.

And Jimmy Carter didn’t get to make an appointment, so effectively it is 28 to 16. Yes, all of the Dem appointments have been awful, but so have been about half of the Republican ones—or rather, two-thirds of the Republican ones start off good, and tw0-thirds of them end up bad.
