Team Bush argues they're built to go the distance in the primary, but that won't matter if Jeb has nothing to offer.
The Jeb Bush Dont Panic, Everything Is Fine campaign is up and running. With his poll numbers in decline, Jeb is rolling out endorsements and assuring reporters that hes meeting fundraising targets and will have plenty of money to take the Jeb 2016 machine all the way through the primary season. The arc of Jebs campaign is following a very Bush-like trajectory he started the nominating contest with a shock and awe strategy of winning the primary early by scaring off all other pretenders; now hes fighting off an unexpectedly resilient insurgency and promising that everything will work out in the end because hes prepared to, ahem, stay the course.
To justify Jebs continued presence in the race, his campaign is making the argument that Bushs path to victory is to wait for all the other candidates to fade or implode, which will clear the way for him to win the nomination through attrition:
But Bushs financial team and strategists argue that he should now be judged by a different benchmark. Their mantra: Hes built to last. Using phrases like go the distance, marathon and long haul, they argue that the former Florida governor is uniquely positioned to outlast other candidates, regardless of the fundraising number he posts for the third quarter...

From your mouth to God’s ears.
Jebbies commercial is awful.
It was reported yesterday that the Koch brothers are now backing iCarly.
Bush is toast. He already peaked, already crashed and it’s unlikely that in this crowded field people will give him a second look. He won’t quit though until all the money he raised is in the pocket of his consultants.
Salon is an indelible stain on “journalism.” Here they may be right for all the wrong reasons.
Amen!!! and take Rubio, Carly, and the rest with you...
I’m only interested in Trump/Cruz....
Trump is losing because he’s ahead in the polls and Bush is winning because he is behind in the polls.
Seems logical.
Never, ever tell a Zombie he looks like death warmed over.
Never, ever tell a loser he just won’t win. Jib-Jeb will be hearing the final sound of trumpets soon - at the demise of his campaign.
Jebby is cooked? Is he regular or extra crispy?
If Jeb wants to beat Trump he will have to run as Hilary’s running mate or vice versa.
Admittedly, I only listen to Sean Insanity maybe 30 minutes a week on a drive home...Caught Carly on his show by chance...could tell immediately that she was full of crap as a Christmas goose...It was right before she went to the Koch bros pay to play function... I really thought the Koch bros were liberal media’s fantasy boogie men...but i have come so see what that whole bastard of a family is....it is not anything the average Freeper would want to fool with...sleazos IMO.
If Barbara was twenty years younger, she could step up and run, and Jebbie could go back peacefully to Miami.
“Seems logical.”

Must be the new math. Or Common Core.
I don’t agree at all...Trump won’t make it past Iowa because he is not going to sit down in your living room, drink hot chocolate, and discuss issues with 20 people....Caucus techniques....Dr. Carson is a wonderful person, but the political powers will not pass him through...Bush is the logical person left because he was a VERY successful governor of an important state. I haven’t ruled out Kasich yet, but he doesn’t seem to be gaining momentum....
Jebbies commercial is awful.
True that. They’re generic, boiler plate, pablum stuffed platitudes.
I have no idea from where you get your opinion on the Koch family, but it is wrong...they are well known for their philanthropy for worthwhile causes....
It is from Salon, so I don’t believe much of what they print.
