Remember that the ratings are based on deeds, not words.
For Conservative Review ratings, they are compiling many years worth of actions, not one year, to prevent career politicians from voting conservatively on their re-election year to bump their ratings in order to fool their constituents back home.

The detractors need to ask Levin and Limbaugh why they think Cruz is so great.

Trump's a yellow dot on the 2nd Amendment -- the 2nd amendment is not about self-protection or hunting.
The 2nd amendment is about maintaining the 1st amendment. That appears to sail over Trump's head. Cruz being a Constitutionalist, I wager connects the two amendments to each other. That rates a green dot for Cruz on the 2nd Amendment, in my book.

"Not that it would matter to a true believer." Coming from a Trumpster, the irony in that statement is rich, thick, and delicious.
Isn't there a thread where you can roll on your back in ecstasy over your celebutard candidate?

Are we picking candidates based on looks now?
If we are, Trump is definitely out of the running.

Enjoy!,
Then respond to my original premise. Not that I am accusing you avoiding the issue.

"SOme of you have a misguided idea of what leadership is" And you, as is often the case, don't have a clue what you're talking about.
To learn about leadership, I suggest you read Cruz's book. It would benefit you to become educated on the cases he has argued, the repercussions his efforts have had on other states, and his successful stands against Bush's attempts to circumvent the Constitution.
Now, admittedly, Cruz has never told anyone to eat their cookies and milk, or told them it was nappy time, so if that's the kind of thing you're looking for...well, there's always Trump.

It’s a good one, isn’t it?
Cruz is running the same kind of campaign that won him his Senate seat. He’s in this for the long haul.

Funny thing I’ve noticed...some of them really don’t like it when the topic turns to principles.
