Odd.
Brookings is usually considered a liberal think tank.
Then again, this “personal attack” WAS organized to keep liberals thinking the “right way” down on their government-paid plantations ....

During the Obama years, we have crossed a threshold. Here is what has changed"
1. Expressing traditional Christian views on sexual morality can get you fired, cause you to lose your business, subject you to Draconian fines, or have your reputation ruined.
2. Owning a gun, or defending the 2nd Amendment, can cause you to be labelled a "terrorist" by some mainstream media outlets.
3. Any public statement which diverges from liberal orthodoxy - on any issue - can ruin your personal life or destroy your business.

Senator Warren must worship at the alter of Senator Joe McCarthy.Senator McCarthy is it?
What one really sees here is a typical pack attack conducted by elements of the Left, a tactic they have perfected over many years and many such operations. Sen McCarthy, in fact, was a victim, not the author, of one of their more successful hate campaigns in years past.
One more thing, dude. The correct word is "altar", not "alter". Buy a dictionary.
