Am I the only one who thinks that everybody on NPR sound like they’re on Prozac.

They are great - they all talk like eachother ... it's one of those places where having a speech impediment or faking it makes you sound extra intelligent.

I like a lot of the interviews where they stutter their words in interview questions to sound like they are really interested or thinking of the question on the spot ... "and wh-wh-what were you .... whatwereyou thinking wh-when you first realized you were w-w-were a woman trapped in .. in a man's body?"

Two or three of them do it - they tend to copy Terry Gross because of her sucess ... and yeah they are all on prozac and benzos I suspect.
