Chick-fil-A Madness Comes To Manhattan
Right Scoop ^ | 10/3/15 | Caleb Howe

The great and terrible Chick-fil-A has come to Babylon. I’m pretty sure that’s a quote from Ghostbusters, right before the “dogs and cats living together” bit. Yes, the mighty and controversial, but undisputed King of chicken has come at last to New York City, and despite any past enmity, the city is thrilled and the residents are lined up for blocks to get the precious.

Being from the south, Chick-fil-A has long been a passion of mine. If you’re wondering, I order the classic as is. I put a little mayo and mustard on it. I escape to euphoria. And oh, the waffle fries.

Late Friday night, Twitchy rounded up some of the photos from Twitter of this giant leap for Yankee-kind. Here’s a sample:

Thanks for the info. If I didn’t know of their great character during the battles they had last year, I guess I know it now.

There are two CFA’s and an In-and-Out Burger within a couple miles of me in Salt Lake county. Decisions, decisions ... they’re both top drawer eateries.

Sadly, I think Culver’s is only in the upper midwest.

Actually there’s one in Conroe, just north of Houston.

I first found Culvers and their custard shake a bit outside Austin.

I went to one in Wisconsin, between Madison and Miluakee.

And, I’ve been to one in Phoenix.

NYC is one place where you can get exceptional food, and at reasonable prices if you are local and know the area.

And now you can buy America's premium breast of chicken sandwich, too, just like everyone else in the country has been able to for years. Nice to see the stagnant coastal province is catching up.
