Jeb Bush didn't always question Marco Rubio's experience

Jeb Bush on Morning Joe continue his light criticism of Marco Rubio, likening to him an untested leader ala Barack Obama.

In 2012, Bush didn’t seem to have reservations as he pushed Rubio for VP. Here is an exchange with Charlie Rose from 2012:

Marco has enough preparation to be one heartbeat away from the presidency?

"I believe so. Look, he has more experience than Barack Obama had when he ran, more practical experience. And certainly got the intellectual acumen and the fortitude to be a good president. And I have a special place in my heart for him, it’s hard to describe the pride I feel for his incredible success, and how well he has moved into the job of being United State Senator with humility, not trying to be an arrogant guy, to learn the trade if you will. He’s got great people in Washington, I really admire him."

Now that Jeb missed his 3Q fundraising goals by a mile, I wonder if he will start making fun of Marco Rubio's gay lisp, too.

Hmmm,is Mraco out polling Heb in Florida? I don’t care for either one of them, but, this is politics. Rough and tumble and knock, down, drag out stuff. Except with Heb, you can’t really tell when he’s knocking anyone down - he’s such a wimp.

Rubio does not have a “gay lisp” - he has a South Florida accent, which is influenced by everything from the cracker South to Cuban Spanish to New York City.

That said, I just wish Bush would go away. I live in Florida, and he was an excellent Florida governor, but that doesn’t mean he’s presidential. There are two candidates now I wouldn’t vote for and Bush is one of them.

Jeb looked beyond pathetic at his townhall with like 50 people last night. sleeves rolled up oily forhead and nervous and sweaty. Not a guy anybody would want in the Whitehouse. He needs to get out and soon.
