Mars? A reasonably good candy bar?
Rush is getting off his game. This is two bad days in a row for him. That doesn’t happen very often.
Comparing historical conditions (assuming it were possible through the interplanetary version of paleontology) on other planets might be a GOOD thing... let me explain.
If they found that on other planets parallel thermal fluctuations were going on to what was supposed to be happening on earth... know what that would prove? That it was the SUN to credit (or blame) for it. And that humans really COULD hope to do nothing except try to adapt.
The dried up oceans on Mars might get global warmists (AGW climate changeists) to dry up... wouldn’t that be music to our ears.
"A strange development, thinks Collins, for a great city-state that flourished even through the catastrophic climate changes that arguably led to the collapse of the great cities of the Levantine Early Bronze Age around 2350 BCE. Collins is hoping that further research and excavation may shed more light on this mystery."
I freaking LOVE Rush but was shocked he didnt know Mars lacked an iron core and a meaningful magnetosphere and therefore also a signifigant atmosphere.
Rush usually scores high on a geek meter.
Shocking, wow.
On the rest of the Mars stuff he was right.
So why is the USA spending all that money to go to Mars when they could be giving away cell phones and other free stuff to the people here on Earth. Sarc.
