Well, this is not exactly a surprise, but the deal made by the regime in DC and the Iranians will probably put the goal in reach a lot sooner than anticipated.

I'd have hoped for some more personal face to face confrontations here on home soil just to show them that not all Americans are as soft and helpless as they seem to think and that our Constitution is far more of a force to be reckoned with than they understand.

Yes. I actually took several hundred rounds of 5.56 and put a very small smear of bacon grease on the tips.

It’s coming. The first attacks will be smaller nuclear devices likely detonated in a large metro area. Once the world sees what ISIS is doing, the upheaval will be enormous. If they don’t go full-tilt from the outset, they likely won’t get a chance to detonate more after the first one (few) go off.

No surprise. The subhuman savages have promised to do it.

By the way, anyone notice how uppity Iran got after this "deal" was made, death to America, death to Israel blah blah. Gee, where would they get this sudden burst of confidence? I wonder....

Well, the response to this is to...take away constitutionally protected rights and freedoms from peaceable and law abiding Americans!

And for good measure, step up that surveillance to where there is no privacy whatsoever.

muslims are exempt, of course.

I was watching a WWII story on the defeat of Nazi Germany last night. We all know how that played out, but what was insightful was how the German people were so easily manipulated into following a self-destructive and murderous regime. Disinformation and propaganda were very effective.
Right up to the end they were believers and followers.

It was a good illustration of just how easy it is to con the masses into accepting anything. We are in a similar situation today with the Iranian “deal” and the growing threat of ISIS.

In the 1930s, Germany was openly violating the Versailles Treaty and building up their military on a massive scale. But World leaders at the time did not want to face the problem and sought only to appease Germany. They continued to believe that Germany's demands would eventually be satisfied without having to go to war. This, despite Hitler's "Mein Kampf" clearly laying out Germany's plans for world domination and enslavement and/or extermination of "inferior" races.

This reminds me today of the situation with ISIS. They will never be satisfied with peacetime concessions. This can only end in total war.

I would be suspicious of anybody who claimed to be embedded with ISIS. Journalist or otherwise.

So Russia is hitting ISIS with airstrikes, and Obama has a problem with that.

I guess he’s worried about his buddies.

They wouldn’t have to go nuclear to have an impact. Simultaneous homicide bombings across the nation would certainly stir up a hornets nest. If indeed they are seeking “religious cleansing”, then perhaps they’ll be attempting to attack our churches and synagogues. There were two ‘minor’ bombings/explosions a couple months ago at churches in Las Cruces NM that perhaps could be test runs for bigger events: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/3319788/posts

It wouldn’t be hard for Islamic State to coordinate a mass bombing or shooting events all across the nation some Sunday morning....

This isn’t even new news, for the most part. If you do a search for Jurgen Todenhofer, you’ll find he came back from Iraq (ISIS) back in 2014.

For example:

http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/middle-east/inside-isis-the-first-western-journalist-ever-given-access-to-the-islamic-state-has-just-returned-9938438.html

(Note that “people of the book”, Christians and Jews actually are to be treated better by ISIS than others. So, I would guess ISIS primary targets might be chosen accordingly. San Francisco is in the crosshairs?)

Maybe the bit about nukes & hundreds of millions of potential deaths will get the attention of someone? Cruz, Carson, or Trump, perhaps?

Do I think ISIS can pull this off? Probably not. But even if they are only 1% successful, good God...

“Political Science”

No one likes us
I don't know why,
We may not be perfect, but heaven knows we try
But all around, even our old friends put us down
Let's drop the big one and see what happens

We give them money but are they grateful?
No, they're spiteful and they're hateful
They don't respect us-so let's surprise them
We'll drop the big one and pulverize them

Asia's crowded and Europe's too old
Africa is far too hot
And Canada's too cold
And South America stole our name
Let's drop the big one
There’ll be no one left to blame us

We'll save Australia
Don't wanna hurt no kangaroo
We'll build an All American amusement park there
They got surfin’ too

Boom goes London and boom Paree
More room for you and more room for me
And every city the whole world round
Will just be another American town
Oh, how peaceful it will be
We'll set everybody free
You'll wear a Japanese kimono
And there’ll be Italian shoes for me

They all hate us anyhow
So let's drop the big one now
Let's drop the big one now

~ Randy Newman

I always thought this meant that ISIS would detonate the side of a western facing mountain/volcano in the Canary Is triggering a US east coast tsunami.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Megatsunami

La Palma is currently the most volcanically active island in the Canary Islands Archipelago. It is likely that several eruptions would be required before failure would occur on Cumbre Vieja.[20][21] However, the western half of the volcano has an approximate volume of 500 cubic kilometres (120 cu mi) and an estimated mass of 1.5 trillion metric tons (1.7×1012 short tons). If it were to catastrophically slide into the ocean, it could generate a wave with an initial height of about 1,000 metres (3,300 ft) at the island, and a likely height of around 50 metres (164 ft) at the Caribbean and the Eastern North American seaboard when it runs ashore eight or more hours later. Tens of millions of lives could be lost in the cities and/or towns of St. John’s, Boston, Halifax, New York, Baltimore, Washington, D.C., Miami, Havana and the rest of the Eastern Coasts of the United States and Canada, as well many other cities on the Atlantic coast in Europe, South America and Africa.[20][21] The likelihood of this happening is a matter of vigorous debate.[23]
