I used to call everything a ‘bulldozer’ and I assume the reporters and most people not familiar with large earth-moving equipment do as well. An innocent mistake, but not like calling every long gun an “AK-47AR15AssaultRifleWeaponWithScaryBlackThingysOnIt”...................
Reporters are suppose to get things correct - that’s their job. Innocent civilians can get it wrong until they discover what the differences are between one thing and another - aka education.
