Russian Media Abuzz With Anticipation of Putin's UN Speech

By The Associated Press

MOSCOW — Sep 28, 2015, 9:05 AM ET

Russian media are abuzz with anticipation of President Vladimir Putin's speech at the UN.

Putin is in the United States for the first time since Russia annexed Ukraine's Crimean Peninsula in March 2014 and threw its support behind separatist rebels in Ukraine. What is more, Russia's recent military buildup in Syria has raised concern in the West about Putin's future steps there.

A state-owned news channel has run a countdown to the opening of the UN General Assembly on its screen all day Monday. Another Russian television channel, Ren-TV, said Monday that Putin is "preparing a speech that will change the world."

You know you can be opposed to Obama and Putin. You don’t have to support Putin, unless, of course, you believe in the KGB thug.

Now it’s supporting Putin & American hostage holding Iran. Putinist Russia, Iran and our local Putinists. Birds of a feather, flock together.

I know...the guy is worse than a flea on a cat when it comes to Russia.....some just don't have an inkling of geopolitics 'today' and their ignorance is fully on display.

Of course, you’re an apologist for Putin and his resurrection of the Soviet Empire. If we help people stay free, well who can blame Putin for trying to make sure they’ll lose their freedom if he so desires.

Sure. Where is Putin wrong in his ideas on Syria compared to Obama. Compare and contrast. Whose ideas on Syria other than Obama’s and Putin’s do you support?

That’s a false choice. Both Obama & Putin can and are wrong.

Anyway, it’s pointless to debate the subject with you because it’s obvious you have a terminal case of Putinphilia.

“some just don’t have an inkling of geopolitics ‘today’ and their ignorance is fully on display.”

This “ETL” doesn’t have any idea of the Geo-politics of yesterday, either.

Last night it was arguing that NAFTA wasn’t originally Jimmy Carter’s grand idea.

As Reagan said, “It’s not that our liberal friends are stupid. It’s just that they know so much that isn’t true.”.

Funny, every time I think of Putin in the Middle East, I think back to a favorite song when I was younger, by the group Love Song, on their Final Touch album - called “Cossack”. Great guitar, great song. Describes Ezekiel 37/38.

I also asked if neither, who is right? Whose ideas on Syria other than Obama’s and Putin’s do you support?

Putin doesn't need or desire apologists.... The entire world leaders know that Obama has failed drastically in Syria and in fact made matters far worse throughout the ME as well as for the European Continent as a whole....they want the chaos stopped and aren't too particular at this point who can get the job done. Oddly enough when the world leaders see that our leaders fail so they have to learn again that they cannot function outside of Russia's assistance when it all boils down......their mistake was believing Obama's lies.

Endless trolling, all from the Soros point of view.

Obama and your boy Putin are basically on the same page when it comes to their vision for the world.

As for Soros, he supports/finances ANTI-American causes, not people or groups opposing anti-American causes (such as the things you and your pro-Russia comrades support here practically 24/7).

The Kremlin’s Troll Army: Moscow is financing legions of pro-Russia Internet commenters:

A June article by Max Seddon of BuzzFeed reported the Kremlin was spending millions of dollars to pay English-speaking Russians to promote President Vladimir Putin and his policies in U.S. media like Fox News broadcasting and The Huffington Post and Politico news sites. Trolls are reportedly expected to manage multiple fake accounts and post on news articles 50 times a day, often with sentiments as simplistic as “Putin makes Obama look stupid and weak!”

They do this only in an attempt to win the trust of anti-Obama folks -- a clever/sneaky way to add credibility to their pro-Russia, pro-Putin BS.
Yet it seems to work on some of us! In reality, Obama is the best thing that has happened to Russia in a long time.

Kremlin pays internet trolls to flatter Putin
Ben Hoyle - Moscow
October 11 2013

Russian investigative journalists and bloggers have uncovered an army of internet trolls paid to pour invective on the Kremlin’s opponents and heap praise on President Putin.

Posing as job applicants, the reporters discovered the government hacks working at a small company called the St Petersburg Internet Research Agency. ...”

I haven’t seen anything on BIBI speaking at the UN....
~~~~~~~~~
odd...Is Merkel speaking?
*******************************
Putin has said all along that dialogue must be and Obama’s always declined.
~~~~~~~~

Now that Putin is acting decisively in the ME, Obama needs the appearance of doing something. [Notice how Obama UN speech emphasized need to defeat ISIS in the ME. The profound gulf between Obama’s words and actions are tragic]

After the meeting, Obama will say that Putin is recalcitrant and isolating himself from the international community.
******************************

Iran’s Rouhani speaking now....sigh. beginning with Mecca stampede.
