Donald Trump will release his tax plan Monday morning, his campaign manager said Saturday.
Corey Lewandowski also told CNN that the plan will be published on Trumps website.
On Wednesday, Trump said his plan will call for middle class tax cuts and hikes for hedge fund managers.
(It) will be very long on policy and will be a great plan, with a major reduction in taxes for the middle class, Trump said at a town hall meeting in Columbia, South Carolina, at the University of South Carolina.
Trump promised that his plan would be great for middle income residents and businesses, but not so much for hedge fund managers, who he has turned into political punching bags of late.
Its going to be very specific, Trump said of his proposal. And I think its going to be a plan that creates incentives, and I think its going to be a plan that makes people happy, other than maybe the hedge fund guys, who make hundreds of millions of dollars and pay very little tax. I mean, those guys will not exactly love me.

Jeb, Rubio & FioRino have BIG plans to export middle class jobs to cheap labor foreign countries, and import five times more H1-B visa workers to promulgate the cheap labor express in US to depress middle class wages.
MichaelCorleone, yours is the most well thought out post I have read in a month. Plz keep up the good work.
As long as it’s focused on class warfare, it’s misguided. Sorry.
We’re never going to save the republic until we remember and enforce equal protection under the law, in every area of governance, including tax policy.
We’re never going to shake loose of state socialism as long as we have a socialist graduated income tax. It’s not possible.
Your hypothesis is not supported by actual evidence.
Google the richest 10 countries in the world.
They all have tax brackets.
When I worked as a high class engineer with a master’s degree in mechanical engineering, I learned very quickly, to pay little attention to theory, and pay lot more attention to actual results.
When the theory is the theory of Marx and Engels, you would be well-advised to pay attention.
A graduated income tax is essential to the imposition of Marxism/Socialism.
Again, actual results do NOT jive with your hypothesis. But you are entitled to live in a theoretical world. We can co-exist without rancor.
Some of the primary goals of Marx and Engels, from the Communist Manifesto:
1. Abolition of property in land and application of all rents of land to public purposes.
2. A heavy progressive or graduated income tax.
3. Abolition of all rights of inheritance.
4. Confiscation of the property of all emigrants and rebels.
5. Centralisation of credit in the hands of the state, by means of a national bank with State capital and an exclusive monopoly.
6. Centralisation of the means of communication and transport in the hands of the State.
7. Extension of factories and instruments of production owned by the State; the bringing into cultivation of waste-lands, and the improvement of the soil generally in accordance with a common plan.
8. Equal liability of all to work. Establishment of industrial armies, especially for agriculture.
9. Combination of agriculture with manufacturing industries; gradual abolition of all the distinction between town and country by a more equable distribution of the populace over the country.
10. Free education for all children in public schools. Abolition of childrens factory labour in its present form. Combination of education with industrial production, &c, &c.

Ignore it all you want, but facts are facts.
Why are you giving a pass to the other 16 candidates?
I have already heard more specifics from Trump then then the other candidates combined. Detailed Immigration and Second Amendment positions are already on his website. Why are you spouting MSM talking points to disparage Trump?
oh, ok.
There are Freepers for whom this plan won’t be specific enough.
More whining and wailing from them.
You’all know whom I’m speaking of.
Thank you, entropy12. That made my day.
I have much respect for EV, but EV...am I wrong here?
There are many on FR who fit EV’s mold. I have nothing against them. But they need to stop attacking candidates who do not fit their criteria of purity. I seldom see Trump supporters attacking Cruz, but Cruz supporters attack Trump viciously and with bitterness! Why?
Trump is now much more conservative, than when was operating as a businessman in a very blue state. But even Cruz is not “pure” based on 1. TPA push 2. Corker Bill yea vote 3. H1B visas by 500%.
So, I am going with who has a great chance at 1. winning nomination, and 2. also good chance to win in general. Trump has lead in 50+ polls so far, Cruz has lead in 1 straw poll. Who has better chance to win nomination?
Winning elections is paramount. Just ask all the wonderful conservatives staring with Barry Goldwater, Ken Cuccinelli, Richard Mourdock, Sharron Angle, Christine O’Donnell, George Allen, Joe Miller, Ken Buck, Alan West, Doug Hoffman etc what they could accomplish after losing elections.
Bottom line is I will support any candidate in general who agrees with most of my agenda. However amnesty to illegals is a deal breaker for me. That will sow seeds of certain destruction of conservatism sooner than we think. Reagan gave amnesty to 2.5 million illegals and that brought in 25 million more illegals. No more amnesty!
Call me what you will.
But I simply have a small set of non-negotiables, things that should reasonably be beyond debate among any people who call themselves “conservative.”
And the statist goals of the Communist Manifesto certainly don’t meet that simple standard of principle.

First, Trump is the front runner and when you’re in the lead the expectations are greater. And many of the other candidates are inconsequential and will soon drop out.
Second, I am not ‘disparaging’ Trump or spouting MSM talking points. I clearly said I like Trump. I want him to succeed and in my opinion the best way to do that is to move beyond the vague statements and into clearly crafted and workable specifics about his plans for moving the country forward.
I assume that in your professional career you must have had to prepare for some big moments when a lot was on the line. In situations like that you prepare to the max and give it everything you’ve got. I’ve gone before “murder boards” before to prepare for such events and to make sure that I was prepared for anything and to maximize the opportunity for success. Its no fun being critiqued but its the right way to prepare.
I’m expecting the same from Trump, and am reasonably sure he would do the same thing to his own people working under him on important mega projects. He would want to see details.
The stakes couldn’t be higher for the country. Its time for Trump to bring his A game, which I don’t think we’ve seen yet. He could walk away with this with the right package of solutions.
Did you see Donald Trump's announcement this morning about his new tax plan? I thought it was brilliantly done. A four page outline of the plan was put on his citizen-facing website and it's obvious he did his homework and has engaged a lot of experts.
I looked at some of the other candidate websites this morning (Carson, Cruz and Fiorina) and none of them came close to the clean, crisp layout of Trump's website, where he already has three detailed position papers available to read.
In fact, Cruz and Fiorina have no position papers at all on their sites. Carson has posted some positions but mostly in 2-3 paragraphs of the kind of boilerplate slogans that we are used to hearing from politicians.

Yes, kudos to Trump! That is exactly the kind of specifics that can galvanize WIDESPREAD support for him. He has some brilliant economic advisors; put them to work! People are hungry for real solutions after 8 years of economic stagnation and policy failure of the Obama administration.
With a couple more plans like this Trump can close the deal.
He will have gravitas, credibility, and momentum. He will be moving ahead while others are standing still. And he’s going to need every advantage he can get to defeat the Dems, the media and the establishment on his own party.
