Obviously a substantial number of voters don’t see it your way. Not at this point anyway.

Maybe your time would be better spent working to explain to people why the Trans Pacific Partnership, giving 0bama fast track authority to negotiate trade deals, and increasing H1B visas by several hundred percentage points while we have massive unemployment are all a good thing for the country in terms of borders, culture, language, and the economy.

Those issues might be what’s holding people back.

Cruz has been criticized relentlessly by the establishment. Even with Boehner’s resignation, RINOs like Peter King have gone on rants against Cruz’ actions in the Senate.

Trump’s name was never even mentioned during key battles like the Obamacare shutdown. Trump never weighed in on any of these congressional debates that took place since Cruz got into office to my knowledge. Regardless, he was ignored during all that time. Even while the liberal media and GOP elites bashed Cruz day in and day out.

Oh please, Trump did not weigh in because he isn’t in the Senate.

A one term Senator with no executive experience is not going to win the general election. Nice guy, but he is not going to win.

I agree Hosepipe.....but one cannot ignore the masses following Trump currently..

Primarys are NOT FOR who looks like they can be elected..
Which is what primary’s are FOR.. to select the best of the best..

Not who has the best gift of gab.. or the most money..
Thats HOW RINOS get elected..

Trump’s skill is in making the working class and middle class like him, and feel like he’s one of them, and be willing to follow him. It’s a very different skill set.

Thats what got OBAMA elected..

LOL, haven't been paying attention to recent history much, have you?

Obama's election proves that a Senator with a well-defined ideology once elected President can have enormous success at moving the country in the direction he wants to. It's time to let Cruz do for conservatives what Obama has done for liberals.

We have never elected a President who had neither won an election nor served in the military or in government before. So the odds on Trump winning continue to be very long.

There are millions more behind him, who are ready to pick up his gun if he should fall. And Trump is not nearly as pissed as the rest. Not even close.

Love the way you ended this... thanks Jim....

They have the same enemies but the big guns are focused on Trump. It isn’t even close at this point.

A quick scan of news articles will prove this. If somehow Ted Cruz looked like the nominee, that would change.

Cruz needs to change his position on H1-b’s and Trade treaty’s.

The middle class is rising up now to defend itself and a good man like him shouldn’t be on the wrong side.

They don’t ignore Trump. I have never seen someone attacked non-stop like him. He must truly threaten them.

OK I can go that way...

Consider; Most republicans despise the GOPe WHOMEVER they come against is who they will go for.. say Trump..

Do you THINK they do not KNOW THAT?.. to UGH.. guide the rubes in the way they want them to go?..

IF you think they are STUPID.. you just WRONG..
Jeb was just a ploy... a gambit.. never expected him to get chosen.. a DIVERSION....

Who they really want is TRUMP!....... WHY?..

One of the first contacts Warren Harding made was to multi-millionaire Andrew Mellon, to be Treas Sec. Mellon said, “I don’t want the job” and Harding said, “I know. That’s why you’re right for the job.” Mellon cut taxes and ran 8 straight surpluses and in 1926 unemployment was a STUNNING 1.6 percent. Trump knows lots of guys like that.

I like the truths said in the narrative even if the likes of Obama and his enablers of/in both major political parties would cry foul.
