Pope Francis, "Jesus dying on the cross was a failure" [Revelation 13]
9/25/2015 | Jan Sobieski

Posted on 09/26/2015 11:31:49 AM PDT by Jan_Sobieski

The greatly heralded Pope Francis, beneficiary of 24 hour news coverage from all news networks, has once again given us insight into his inner self in a sermon at St Patrick's Cathedral in New York City (Transcript of Sermon) . After starting the service, Pope Francis gave a heart warming shout-out to his "religion of peace", “Muslim brothers and sisters” when he said this:

“I would like to express two sentiments for my Muslim brothers and sisters: Firstly, my greetings as they celebrate the feast of sacrifice.”

The Pope clearly understands that for the last 1400 years, Islam has held that Christians and Jews are not brothers and sisters, but rather infidels worthy of death. Islam's god, Allah, states in Surah 19 of the Koran that he has no son. To say so is blasphemy against Allah and his prophet, Mohammed. However, despite what Muslims believe, the Chrislamic Pope Francis has demanded that the Christian nations in Europe and America receive all Muslim "al hijrah" immigrants, while the Vatican has the strictest immigration policy on earth. Perhaps the syncretic Pope believes that by paying obeisance to Islam he can bring the irrational religion under his cognitive dissonant sphere of influence? His later words in the sermon seem to dignify the Islamic view of Jesus' failure on the cross when he stated:

"And if at times our efforts and works seem to fail and not produce fruit, we need to remember that we are followers of Jesus Christ and his life, humanly speaking, ended in failure, the failure of the cross.

The Bible foretells in Revelation 13 that in the last days before the return of Jesus, an international religious figure will rise on the scene. The religious figure will look like a self-sacrificing, philanthropist. A real lover of man and the earth! He will appear harmless as a lamb, but when he speaks, he speaks like a ravenous dragon. He may feign faith in Christ, but in reality will direct everyone to worship another political figure who will be promoted to help solve the world's problems. Somehow this religious figure is so intertwined with politics and the economic system, he is able to promote a new worldwide economic order where all must have the the political figure's mark on their person in order to purchase, and to show loyalty to the "new world system". The Bible is also clear that whoever receives this "mark" will be damned to hell, with no hope of redemption.

I am not sure if Pope Francis IS this religious figure. If not, he is certainly a wonderful forerunner. Every time he opens his mouth, he continues his foray into the world political and economic orders and his consistent promotion of homosexuality, Allah as God of the Bible, and Marxism/Socialism betraying his "inner dragon"...

Victory in Jesus, by Eugene Monroe Bartlett, Sr.

I heard an old, old story
How a Savior came from glory
How He gave His life on Calvary
To save a wretch like me
I heard about His groaning
Of His precious blood's atoning
Then I repented of my sins
And won the victory

O victory in Jesus
My Savior, forever
He sought me and bought me
With His redeeming blood
He loved me ere I knew Him
And all my love is due Him
He plunged me to victory
Beneath the cleansing flood

I heard about His healing
Of His cleansing pow'r revealing
How He made the lame to walk again
And caused the blind to see
And then I cried, "Dear Jesus
Come and heal my broken spirit,"
And somehow Jesus came and brought
To me the victory

O victory in Jesus
My Savior, forever
He sought me and bought me
With His redeeming blood
He loved me ere I knew Him
And all my love is due Him
He plunged me to victory
Beneath the cleansing flood

I heard about a mansion
He has built for me in glory
And I heard about the streets of gold
Beyond the crystal sea
About the angels singing
And the old redemption story
And some sweet day I'll sing up there
The song of victory

O victory in Jesus
My Savior, forever
He sought me and bought me
With His redeeming blood
He loved me ere I knew Him
And all my love is due Him
He plunged me to victory
Beneath the cleansing flood!

Please do not get offended at me, but do you also call Muslims your brothers and sisters? Humanly speaking, Jesus’ death on the cross is the only lasting victory that humans can ever know.

Thank the Lord your daughter got out of that evil. How did she come to embrace Islam in the first place and how long before she came to her senses?

I agree that this is taken out of context. I disagree that it is a good address. It is not the heresy presented. Still, I never like our daily emotions, especially those rooted in our own weakness and sinful doubt, lifted by a comparison like that. Jesus fully understood what He was doing and why. He agonized because what he was called to do was so difficult. But He did it willingly and knew fully the fruit of it. Read John 14 through 17. I am not saying you do not know that. I am saying, his speech was not “pretty good.” It was his usual emotional drivel that is not biblical solid. That is why it is so easily misunderstood.

You are correct about the “brothers and sisters” thing. I forgot about that and focused on the other charge. That is a VERY strange thing for a Pope to say.

....”Many of us have had to leave Protestant Church denominations because of a failure to adhere to “sound doctrine”. Some have fled to non-denominational churches, and some have fled to home churches.... It may be high time for our believing Roman Catholic brothers and sisters to do the same...”...

Unfortunately many churches today are entering a time of deception which Jesus clearly warned us would come. Because I’ve traveled and moved so often in life I’ve been able to observe the “changes” which have occurred and the deceptions being taught. ...more importantly how fast now this is traveling.

I agree and have great concerns for those believers in the catholic church.....what is gearing up and yet to fully be seen in catholic leadership, and where they are taking their church, will engulf them if they don’t leave soon. Because this isn’t going to stop by any change of Popes...it’s an agenda fully tied now to the Global Agenda for World Dominance when they set up that order, now moving a lightening speed.

Were it not for all the other crazy things he says, I may have let his failure statement pass...

I also agree with your statement about Jesus’ death and disagree with how the Pope used it. I am just saying that he did not actually call it a failure.

Popes come and Popes go. This Pope as usual is old. He will soon be gone and we will have a new Pope. I eagerly await the new Pope.

Was she dating a moslem man? I had a roommate in college who began to cover her head after she met and began to date a Paki student.

A New Pope isn’t going to change the trajectory the Vatican leadership is taking the catholic church...the agenda is set.

He said HUMANLY SPEAKING!!!!!!!!!!!

I think that since his statement, no matter how you read it, is blasphemy, I would argue that he was Demonically Speaking.

Christ work was finished at the cross. His penultimate statement at the cross was "It is Finished." The work was done. It was a victory and not a failure.

You can make all the excuses you want for this miserable failure of a Pope, but you can't polish a turd and call it art.

Thanks for sharing. Praise God your daughter came back to Christ. The power of prayer is amazing. I can’t say how happy I am for her and you that she is back in the fold.

Spot on. I do not recall John Paul II getting anything close to this type of adoration during his visit to America. And he was a thousand times the leader that Pope Frank is.

I agree with you completely at #33.
It’s very unfortunate on the phrasing.
Even if he had added ‘worldly’ before “humanly speaking” I think it would still need to be even clearer than that for the ‘world’.
He lacks discernment about this. Perhaps his translator should be fired, I don’t know.
I’m not Catholic but, I do know the itching ears of humanity, and what they they hear this ‘beloved’ Pope say is that Jesus failed and died on the cross. This is very unfortunate.

Yes to all in your post.

Remember, though, the power is not in the prayer; it's in the One to Whom we pray.
