Well, for some reason, he’s not catching on with conservative republicans, or that vote is too spread thin.

I love him.

I like Trumps if only because I think he’s the reason jeb is out.

And if he wins primary, i’ll vote for him.

Or if Cruz is still very low at voting time, I’ll vote Trump then too.

Who the he!! knows why/if he changed so many views in so few years, but he seems to love the country and right now, that’s alot.

See if you can get your hands on ANY candidate's internal polls regarding Cruz.

Echos my feelings pretty closely. The game changer for me on Trump is that he went to Sen. Jeff Sessions for immigration policy. Hopefully, Cruz would play at least an equally strong role in a Trump administration.

Trump is nowhere near the best candidate out there. I'd put him somewhere in the middle of the pack. But he is probably the best candidate this country deserves.

If the only thing Trump does is to save the country from invasion, he is worth supporting.

I have been disappointed but not surprised at Cruz's low numbers. He is an effective speaker and intelligent. I largely blame the media. People don't know much about him. During the debates, he was deliberately ignored. And then he gets tossed stupid/mocking questions like Kelly's about God.

well, for some reason, he’s not catching on with conservative republicans
******************

Agree that he’s currently trailing in these uninformed polls of “republican and leaning Republican” registered voters— none of these polls are of likely voters.

But, as to “conservative” voters, even these polls show that Cruz is only 2nd to Trump among those who identify as Tea Party.

From an article yesterday:

“Bob Vander Plaats, head of The Family Leader, a Christian group in Iowa, said he believes Mr. Cruz has the best infrastructure of support in the Hawkeye State and said that some of the other candidates eyeing the conservative mantle are struggling to keep pace.

“People still like Governor Huckabee,” he said. “They still like Senator Santorum. I still hear buzz about Bobby Jindal, but they are going to need some sort of game changer to put them into the upper bracket [with Mr. Cruz] and give them the fuel needed to sustain it.”

Cruz is well positioned to win Iowa, esp, now that Gov. Walker is out.
