No thanks! In my opinion, American cultural icons should be emphasized on patches on American Military Uniforms.
Says this vet of the vietnam war era, son (and grandson, and great grandson) of WWII, and WWI, and Civil War Vets, and Dad of an iraq war Vet, and also Dad of one in currently uniform, also an iraq war Vet.

This insignia will be worn by all of the Army members of the CJTF and may be authorized for wear by other services and nations according to their regulations.”

There is something insidious here....the unit insignia is being replaced with a campaign ribbon, in the form of a patch....and all of the sudden US soldiers are wearing the same faux insignia as soldiers from other nations. Reminds me of UN troops...more loyal to the mission than to a unit or nation.
