TULSA, Oklahoma -
Police closed streets around the federal courthouse in downtown Tulsa Thursday morning.
Tulsa Police told News On 6 crime reporter Lori Fullbright, three Middle Eastern men parked a car near the federal courthouse at 3rd and Denver and ran off.
Police said they found a backpack in the car and are treating it as a possible bomb.
Police say the backpack is in the backseat of a gold BMW.
The department's bomb squad is on scene and bomb techs are not examining the backpack.
Police tell Lori Fullbright the men who ran have been located and are being questioned.
Officers checking around the courthouse for any suspicious devices or packages.
First day of Eid, for what it’s worth.
Tim’s old friends?
Clockmed’s menyook Scout leader’s pack?
I read a fascinating book about the OKC bombing - The Third Terrorist.
It makes a convincing case that there was an muzzie connection to the bombing.
probably an ingenious clock inside of it
Some prosecutor is probably frothing at the mouth about the thought of getting a new gold BMW through forfeiture;... “now you bomb squad guys make sure it doesn’t detonate in the vehicle, ya hear?”
Another clock?
It’s just a home made backpack!
Geeze, white people and their overreacting to stuff...
nothing to see here folks.
just more radio-shack ripped apart clocks. right?
Did the backpack have a clock in it?
Whoever made it will get an invitation to the White House.
So will the person who left the backpack get to meet Obama, too?
Great read.
False alarm, just some dumbass parking illegally.
There certainly seemed to be plenty of circumstantial evidence at the time.
Tulsa, Huh?
Not OKC this time. Hard to believe it, but Oklahoma has a strong muzzie insurgent presence.
Eid is die spelled backwards
They aren't sure - a clock may be inside the pressure cooker.
Interesting... about 3 miles from the big Islamic center with lots.of cameras and no windows on the Tulsa U. campus.
Just saying...
