The Virginia Senate Republican Caucus is footing the bill for republican presidential candidate Jeb Bushs visit to the Birthplace of Country Music Museum in Bristol Thursday.
The fundraising event, called Java with Jeb, only lasts an hour long, but we found out its costing the Virginia Senate Republican Caucus $1,000 to rent the museum, according to public records. Birthplace of Country Music Executive Director Leah Ross says $1,000 is the standard rental cost.
Java with Jeb starts at 11:45 tomorrow. The letter of agreement estimates 50 people will attend.
Eff them. All their fundraising spam goes into the $4itcan.
Java with Jeb?
Bullsh!t with Bush is more like it.

And I thought Starbucks was expensive.
If they get 50 people at the base rate of $125 (when purchased 2 or 4 tickets together), they will gross $6250.00. Less the $1000 rental, they should net $5,250. By the time you add in staff time to set it up, gas to get there from the tidewater, they have to be losing money on this outing.
At least the venue is small enough that it shouldn’t look too bad.
Now you have tempted me to make a sign and actually show up.
Well they will never get a dime from me, EVER.
The GOP will be committing suicide if they nominate ¡Yeb! The Joyful Tortoise
Breakfast with Mr Potato Head for one grand! What a bargain!
Please do it! Someone needs to.
If I lived closer to Bristol I’d try to make it there myself.
Java? Jeb still can’t speak English.
