You wont see it being reported openly in the Mainstream Media. Nor will you hear mention of it by any of the establishment Republican candidates, but within that vortex of supposed silence there has been a coordinated shift within the most influential Republican donor class in favor of the campaign of Marco Rubio.
This shift in allegiance by Republican power brokers was first reported upon here nearly two months ago in a report titled, Big Donors Warn Candidates On Eve Of Debate: Take Trump Out
Of all the main stage candidates from the first debate who participated in the second debate, it was Marco Rubio whose performance improved the greatest. Part of this improvement was the direct result of the campaigns confidence that help was on its way in the form of both donation dollars and favorable media coverage should he prove himself worthy of such.
Senator Rubio did just that and is now poised to become the Republican establishments new 2016 choice, supplanting the greatly diminished Jeb Bush campaign.
Since the second Republican presidential debate last week, Rubios standing in the polls has improved dramatically TRIPLING into double-digits since just last month. Yesterdays announcement by Governor Scott Walker to end his own campaign was the direct result of Republican power brokers urging the Wisconsin governor to do so in order to help make way for the now increasingly popular, Marco Rubio. These requests were initiated days before the most recent GOP debate, and then intensified in the days that followed, resulting in what appeared to be a sudden decision by Mr. Walker to withdraw from the race.
When contemplating the kind of influence now aligning itself with the Rubio campaign, one need look no further than those who until recently were the primary financial backers of Scott Walkers White House aspirations the Koch Brothers. Current media reports will suggest the influential Koch Brothers to be stunned and disappointed by Walkers plummeting support among Republican voters but such reporting is at least a few weeks behind real-time. Both Charles and David Koch are said to have already shifted their allegiance and their considerable financial machinations to the suddenly-resurgent, Marco Rubio.
D.C. Whispers first reported on the Koch Brothers influence as well as their disdain for Donald Trump back in July:
Rift Forms Between Donald Trump & Koch Brothers Political Machine
When one adds the Koch Brothers support to Mr. Rubios existing political patronage of billionaire auto dealer, Norman Braman, the Rubio campaign is now poised to become the single most well-funded Republican candidate in the field with the possible exception of Donald Trump.
"Hell drop out when he has to start writing his own checks. Hes been given free publicity for months. By the time people get down to voting he will need to actually start spending real money. Trump wont do that. He doesnt have the fortitude to play the long game. Thats why he met with Priebus. He wanted a guarantee that if wins the nomination the GOP would be donating to his campaign just like it would Jeb Bush or the others. Trump wanted to make sure hed be getting that same $300-400 million the RNC handed over to Mitt Romney in 2012 because he has no intention of even coming close to spending that amount of his own money. Hes all hat and no cattle mark my words.
So says a trusted D.C. Whispers source on the issue of Donald Trump dropping out by late 2015/early 2016 which if true, would certainly appear to finalize the path to the GOP nomination for Marco Rubio.
Interested voters would do well to watch Mr. Trump very closely in the coming days and weeks for any validation of the above.
DEVELOPING
that is the point.
They big money donors doe not want ANY difference in any winner.
Rubio = jeb = Fiorina = Hillary = Obama
As long as the candidates take blood donations they are beholding to their masters.
Jebbie is Done.
This won’t help Mario rescue the princess but he will be able to buy some new plumbing supplies. /humor
I called it since day 1!
Always knew that either Rubio, Carson or Fiorina were the GOPe PLAN B all along. Now just like clockwork, to fudge the poll numbers and it’s on it’s way...
Rubio = Bush IV
and, they intend to compel all of us to vote for him HOW exactly?
I Will NOT Vote For Rubio!
Go Marco Romney, go!
Rubio changes his “core values” like he changes his underwear.
His efforts to “move to the right” are cynical to the point of patronizing. But importantly, he has bowed down and kissed the ring of internationalism. That it is the internationalism of multinational corporations instead of the internationalism of socialism, doesn’t really matter.
It means that he neither supports America first, nor has loyalty to his nation, preferring the nebulous power structures of shadowy and unelected internationalist groups.
Now that the UN is openly pushing for international government through its loathsome Agenda 21 and now totalitarian Agenda 2030, such disloyalty is no longer tolerable.
We must demand from our leaders and our candidates that they must support America and its citizens first and foremost. And if the rest of the world goes to Hell, that is tragic, and the American people are generous, so may offer them some voluntary charity. But never, ever, at the cost of an iota of our sovereignty or prosperity.
If that is demanded of us by these corporate overlords, then they must be given the ultimatum to either demonstrate real patriotism to America and its people; or to be excluded from our markets.
And socialism, of course, must be dismissed out of hand, as it has been extensively proven to be disastrous, inefficient and inept.
it will be Petraeus and Cruz. Go USA!!
I’m guessing Fiorina tapped by Rubio for VP
I agree with your comment. I think we gotta be realistic. If we nominate, say, Cruz, the GOPe will sabotage him and we will lose. They’re rat bastards, and you’ll know they’ll do it -— they always do. Until we can crush these people, we have to live with them. I think avoiding Bush, Graham, Kasich or Christie is a pretty good outcome. Another poster referred to Rubio’s 80% CR rating. I’ll take 80% of a loaf for now. Rubio’s actually my third or fourth choice, but I think saying he would govern just like Hillary is plain silly.
Well, MY rumor source says all the big money is going to get behind Gilmore.
Just more of the Ulsterman fictional crap.
Great, now we get a few days of FR’s best hopscotch players hopping to tell us that Rubio is awesome now that their last love Icarly is no longer awesome.
Next week when Rubios multiple amnesty/Schumer positions get brought back up, they will hop right back to carson pretending that his recent antijihadism is the most important thing ever and his anti 2A idiocy never really happened.
After which Kaisch will be the golden boy until Marco regains his rightful spot as the most conservative guy tha can WINNNNNNN!!!!!!
Insanity. Doing the same thing over and over expecting a different result.
The GOPe schmucks screwed up bigtime by setting up Florida as the first winner-take-all and this time around they were really planning on it being a big win and maybe an insurmountable win for Iguana One, Jebacita.
But all that’s backfired and they are sh*ing their pants at the thought that Trump might take Florida’s big prize AFTER coming out on top in Iowa, New Hampshire and South Carolina.
And with Jebacita sinking into the swamps in Florida, the GOPe schmucks HAVE to push Rubio.
I strongly believe that Walker’s inane “lead from behind” speech in which he urged others “follow his lead” and to drop out was aimed right at Iguana One, Jebacita.
That it is the internationalism of multinational corporations instead of the internationalism of socialism, doesnt really matter.
The real problem is that Trump is the zombie candidate. You can’t kill him. He knows how to get free media. He draws crowds which they have to report. He attacks other weak republicans which they have to report. He attacks Granny which they will report. He attacks and attacks. He is a car wreck on the highway, we all slow down and want to see the blood. Each time it’s another republican like Walker. Next up? Actually I think it will be Rubio, light weight. Can’t make it.
The real problem here is that many so called conservatives are far less convicted to their stated conservatism than a DU poster.
“So says a trusted D.C. Whispers source on the issue of Donald Trump dropping out by late 2015/early 2016 which if true, would certainly appear to finalize the path to the GOP nomination for Marco Rubio.”
Au contraire - I think a lot of Trump supporters will go to Cruz before Rubio. My only concern is that Trump won’t back Cruz because of the “kill the DC establishment” theme of Cruz’ campaign - Trump has made his fortune buying influence with those very people.
Well, the establishment wanted to take out Trump .. and USED Fiorina to try. It hasn’t worked .. and now they will need to take her out.
The same thing will happen to Rubio. He’s now going to start attacking Trump .. and he will either not survive after Trump gets through with him and his Gang of 8 junk. Or, he will end up losing a lot of his support .. and then the establishment will have to choose somebody else.
Geeeeee .. all you candidates who are chasing the applause of the establishment .. be careful .. if you’re going to start cooking with evil .. you should expect to get forked.
