FWIW, Cruz when asked about Reagan striking a bargain to keep invaders (my term, not theirs( in the US, didn't answer all that well. The answer to that one should be Reagan did so on the promise that the border would be secured and laws would be passed to stop illegal immigration. That never happened. This is why the border has to be secured FIRST.

The interview of Cruz was much more harsh than the one Trump got. But nowhere near as what Trump got at the beginning of his ascent.

I'll concur easily that Fallon's interview with Trump was much better. "Trump interviewing Trump" is an all-time top 10 classic. One takeaway is that Colbert is not a total liberal hack.

The real winner of the two interviews is Jimmy Fallon.

Didn’t think of that. You’re right. But must be hard to bat 1000 when you’re on the spot with prepared hard questions being asked.

He rocked the gay marriage question by bringing up the constitution and five lawyers deciding our fates.

Could it be that he was a kid when Reagan was president and just didn’t know? I have no idea what immigration policy was 10 years ago.

All i know is the NY Times had 47 pages FULL of jobs in employment secion and getting a job in NYC was cake.

Did Trump go to Wharton? One of my uncles got an MBA from Wharton after getting his BS in engineering. He said Wharton was a piece of cake compared to engineering school. Which isn’t to take away from your point but as an engineer I had to throw that in there.

Imagine if Trump was to have claimed ownership of the Manson quote?

Would have been today’s headline.

But he’s not backing off. He just doesn’t want to discuss it. My theory is that he knows there’s been a fraud, but he also knows that as a private citizen, he can’t win. The President humiliated him with his fake birth certificate at the White House Correspondence Dinner. I saw Trump say that sometimes it takes years to get even with people who have wronged him, but he always does.

Great interview.

And all the comments about Trump coming from money. Sure, he did. Big deal. And, more importantly, look what he successfully did with it! Plus, lived a live without drugs, raised kids, despite divorce and work, without drugs.

Compare to Fiorina. She also came from money, lots of it. She, too, got a top education, and helping start to her career. Yet, look what a mess she did with it. Serial business failure; serial campaign loser. And, lost a kid to drugs in the process.

“Will Trump uphold Conservative principles?”

Trump says he will deport all illegals. Cruz refuses to say what he wild do. Who is upholding principles?

Colbert is a lucky, talented jackass with a leftist agenda. Check him out on Wikipedia. I find him singularly unappealing and never watch him. Jackass.

Absolutely agree. Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert are propagandists, just like the DNC media.

He was trying to elicit an emotional response

Right. So it was awkward to watch. These guys think way too much of themselves

Not going to happen

Dad and hub both engineers another FM Wharton and a friend as well both have a fraternity of connections and a lot of success. Anyone wondering should know a program like engineering, med school, even a good nursing program, are formative

Why miss the point?

People underestimate Trump.

I suspect salvageable portions led by Patriots will break away and the “Lib gimmees” will be repulsed and allowed to wallow in their dilapidated twisted visions.
