Theres one word to describe Carly Fiorina.
Really. Just one.
Steely.
At least thats the impression left after reading the coverage of her performance at last weeks Republican presidential debate.
Steely is how numerous news outlets described the 2016 hopeful; in particular her icy put-down of Donald Trump, when asked her reaction to his impolite comments about her appearance.
(Snip)
So many news outlets used steely in writing about Fiorina that one might reasonably ask if theres a herd mentality in political reporting. But thats like asking whether candidates say stuff thats not always true.

A herd mentality? Give me a break. Just listen to Rushs gravitas montage about Dick Cheney.
........................................................
They have a the “word of the day” and send it to all their cronies. How else would all of them say the same thing the same day, especially like gravitas which I had never heard before in any normal conversation.

"Wow, it's almost like all the *news* outlets got the same talking point memo."
It's amazing how often that happens.
You'd think they would know better, but considering their herd mentality...

My own personal opinion is that she was snarky during both debates like she was just ready to have a spat with someone and the moderators played that up during the second debate. My husband noticed an irritating whistle in her speech pattern during the last debate. Once I noticed it, I couldn’t UNnotice it.
To: Jane Long
Yes. There is something of the old school horror movie about her. She is not too far from Doktor Frankenstein’s laboratory.

How about "Tilty" ...as in her head 10 deg. to one side or the other. Yes, the tilty is there, but something about Snarly just seems a little different...
