I would have a huge problem with our bloated FedGov wasting money on mutilating people who are mentally ill, but I’m okay with Jersey City doing it. I don’t pay taxes there and won’t even visit, so it’s a decision for them to make without my input. I think it’s sad and cruel to slice off genitals before the mentally ill person understand that the problem is between the ears and not between the legs, but they have the right to make their local government as cruel as they wish, within the constraints of the Bill of Rights.

For the most part, you are right. But to allow this creeping evil to exist is to allow it to fester and infiltrate the entire society. It is wrong there and everywhere.
