This all sounds lovely in theory and if we lived in a perfect world it would probably be the ideal course of action. As Glenn correctly notes, we most often hear about impeachment when it comes to the President or possibly Supreme Court Justices, but the process can apply to any “civil officer of the United States” which includes the members of the cabinet as well as other department heads.

Impeachment is the one glaring fault in the Constitution. 2/3 majority is for all practical purposes an unreachable figure. The present admin. uses it to its benefit and the country’s detriment. The Constitution was designed for honest men to live under. Not the scum we have in power now. (Both Parties)

The Obama administration sold weapons to Mexican narco-terrorists—particularly Los Zetas, trained by the US Army—trying to work a scenario where it could pin it on Americans’ bloodlust for firearms in order to deprive us or our 2nd Amendment rights. (And now Americans are being killed by same weapons.)
Obama’s Secretary of State got the 3 AM call, but told her girlfriend to hit `snooze’ and allowed Americans to die, ignoring their pleas for assistance, then tried to blame it all on youtube and Americans’ hatred of the ROP.
It’s IRS persecuted its political enemies, non-left wing Americans, and it’s intelligence agencies lied under oath about surreptitiously collecting e-information on them ... and that’s just for starters without getting to their Capo di tutti capi of `Godfather’ of crime.
These people are all still working in those jobs, or are retired with full benefits or are ... running for president.
Go after the EPA, impeach Gina McCarthy for dirty water? That’s really rich. Boehner, McConnell, McCain, Graham, Gowdy, Issa & Co. and their Democrat friends must be laughing their butts off over this one.
The other problem is that Congress lacks an investigatory arm, they depend on Justice to do it. I’m not a fan of creating more bureaucracy, but do you really expect a corrupt regime to investigate itself?
Congress has made itself impudent. Impeachment and defunding are off the table so why would any bureaucrat give Congress the time of day. People are better of to try the judiciary route at this point. It will be interesting to see what happens when the judiciary and the executive branches finally clash on who’s the king.
I used to park outside Yunick’s garage at night and listen to him run engine’s on the dyno. That was a favorite date destination.
