Republican presidential hopeful Ben Carson is standing by his view that a Muslim should not be president of the United States, telling The Hill in an interview on Sunday that whoever takes the White House should be “sworn in on a stack of Bibles, not a Koran.”

Carson ignited a media firestorm in a Sunday morning interview with Chuck Todd on "Meet the Press," in which he said he “would not advocate that we put a Muslim in charge of this nation.”
“I absolutely would not agree with that,” Carson said.
In an interview with The Hill, Carson opened up about why he believes a Muslim would be unfit to serve as commander in chief.
The question of a Muslim in the White House is beyond dumb! Designed by media leftists to hamstring conservatives. Who gives a rats ass about such a hypothetical? Who cares about a situation that will never happen? Ben Carson should have laughed at the idiot and said, “Please ask me a serious question about the condition of this country.”
Stupid questions should never be answered.

He also could have asked a rhetorical question in response...
“Have any muslims ever run for president?”
Exactly...Just because it’s asked doesn’t mean it deserves an answer. Ben should have said “That’s dumb! I can’t answer it and besides it has nothing to do with the issues.”

I know that Sen. Cruz had already said the part that you bolded but did he now say the first part that you left unbolded? If so I don't agree with that at all.
There are NO “good” muslims. There may be non-violent (for the moment) muslims but .... No one adhering to that goat humping child raping moon god worshiping death cult is “good”

I heard him being interviewed about a week ago and he stated he fought the bill’s passage. I kid you not.

However, he took some sharp shots at Obama and Islam in general.
I stand with Carson on the Muslim issue as to POTUSA. However I part with Carson as to the south of the border invaders issue. My choice (s) for POTUSA are narrowing and putting me on hold.
