Still doesn’t look good for him even if you disregard the content of his statements. He flip-flopped too many times on too many issues. Three contradictory positions in one week on immigration - the ethanol flip flop - the Confederate flag flip flop and more. I’d say he weathervaned around, but the speed at which he changed positions depending on his audience would have caused a weathervane to snap off its base. Demonstrably too easy to get him to change his position on important issues... like illegal immigration.
Basically most of his positions appeared to be extremely malleable - even within the same week. Hard to believe he’d have any solid convictions or even that he would be predictable in office with that behavior. Maybe next time, but the Scott Walker of 2015 wasn’t ready for national office.
