the way the USA does "capitalism" very much relates to those social issues:
abortion for profit
illegal immigration for cheap labor

while one may not like what the Pope's saying; as America stands now, there honestly isn't much moral ground for any of us to be indignant about it.

Neither of those things are true. Abortions were being done long before there was any money to be made in the parts trade. Illegal immigration imposes a net cost on the economy in the tens of billions. The "cheap labor" is enjoyed by a handful of businesses who shift their costs to taxpayers to provide infrastructure for their illegals.

That isn't capitalism. The people who call it "crony capitalism" don't know what they're talking about. It isn't any form of capitalism, it's simply fascism.

The Bishop of Rome grew up in a country that's alternated between one form of populist fascism or socialism after another. He is a moron who has no understanding of economics. Trying to distort economics with religious mumbo-jumbo is one of the reasons that Latin America is in the shape it's in.
