Real-estate tycoon Donald Trump has a new campaign-trail foe: former Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly Fiorina.
On Sunday and Monday, Trump has gone out of his way to trash Fiorina's candidacy, blasting her business record, her electoral prospects, and even how she sounds when she speaks.
"I think that she's got a good line of pitter-patter. But when you listen for more than five minutes, you develop a tremendous headache," Trump said Monday morning on "Fox & Friends."
Trump had a similar line during a Sunday interview on ABC's "This Week."
"She's got a good pitter-patter," Trump observed, according to an ABC transcript, "but if you listen to her for more than five minutes straight, you get a headache."
But Trump has even more aggressively bashed Fiorina's tenure at HP and Lucent, another technology company.
"She did a terrible job at Hewlett-Packard. She did a terrible job at Lucent. I mean, those companies are just a disaster and she destroyed Hewlett-Packard,"

Was they doing it while she was there, because that makes a massive hole in her so called pathetic stance on PP at the last debate?
Well obviously not me either since I said my chit is 10 years old. :-)
...and if you look at her for more than 3, you become nauseous!
>>>>>>>>as opposed to 2 minutes for Trump
I know that it would be taboo to refer it, but the problem I have is what Fiorina’s failure at HP represents, not the failed management in itself. The word is that she would not heed the advice of her advisers and tossed many out.
Some people say that Trump is a narcissist, with which I completely disagree. His former employees say positive stuff that they would not say about a narcissistic boss, believe me. OTOH, Carly shows real signs of being that kind of sociopath. Time will tell.
Which makes you wonder why someone who failed miserably at every job she attempted in the last 20 years is even trying to run. Destroyed Lucent, destroyed HP, performed so bad she was never offered another executive job again, worked on the McCain campaign, was destroyed in a landslide in her Senate race. And now she wants to be president? A lifetime of "failing upwards" and bailing out with golden parachutes has given her a big head (and a sad face).
“...so bad she was never offered another executive job again...”
So unless you have been tapping her phones and reading her mail, how exactly would YOU know this?
I know this is a favorite libel of Trump’s, but how exactly do you know she even applied for another position? She isn’t exactly hurting for cash.
And seriously, someone who is a fan of Trump pointing out another candidates ego? Seriously? That is some pretty epic cognitive dissonance.
You clearly have no experience in running an IT company or the impact of the tech bubble bursting. The fact that HP survived despite having substantial investment in increasingly low profit margin printers and personal PC’s (which is why the Compaq purchase). Even one of the most influential board members who voted for her ouster now says it was a bad decision on his part. Fiorina positioned HP for future growth by making the tough decisions early.
I’m not entirely sold on Fiorina, but she doesn’t deserve nearly the crap that the carny huckster Trump has been laying on her.
Oh, by the way, nice whining about “unfair” Fox News. I’m sure that strategy will serve him well when dealing with our foreign enemies.
Snarly is a joke. She uses being female to get the sympathy vote. She treated her men like throwaway dog doo.
