Oh. Really. He wasn't mocking God? He was smirking while saying it.
Take a look at his Twitter feed.
Aaron Rodgers retweeted God @TheTweetOfGod Jun 26 What would Jesus do? Officiate a gay marriage. And then cater it using only a loaf and a fish.
Aaron Rodgers @AaronRodgers12 Jun 25 Was on a spiritual journey today and found this list. @TheTweetOfGod
Aaron Rodgers @AaronRodgers12 Jun 13 Forgot to thank you @TheTweetOfGod for the help on Jeopardy, I know how much you love game shows.
Aaron Rodgers retweeted God @TheTweetOfGod May 26 "Lord, can I have a pony?" Sure. Just as soon as I get a prayer from a pony asking for a little girl with no clue how to take care of it.
God @TheTweetOfGod Apr 26 The only part of My job I really enjoy is determining who wins sporting events.
Aaron Rodgers retweeted God @TheTweetOfGod Apr 19 It's great to see how many country music stars are thanking Me at the #ACMawards50 even though I think country music sucks.

You have to understand the context. Russell Wilson said God was a Seahawks fan when they miraculously won last year in the playoffs..so yes it Was a jab
Aaron Rodgers does some amazing things for kids ,etc so this is just searching for things.

Good QB but it does sound like he’s got a few issues. I think he’s trying to be funny... but unfortunately he’s not a funny guy. Play football and leave the stand-up comedy to the professionals, Aaron

Aaron Rodgers is my second fave QB to watch play, he's a great QB.
That being said, the Rodgers tweet list in rhwingut's post is pretty darn convincing. Just take a gander, it's not pretty.

God has a sense of humor. All one has to do is look around and you will see what I mean.

So that negates all his charity work and other good deeds? I don’t believe he’s perfect and he might say or do some things I might not agree with, but I haven’t seen him be mean to anyone. Twitter does not measure a person’s character, actions do.
By the way, he was brought up in a Christian household.
