The fallacy that President Obama is a Muslim has tripped up many a politician, said NPRs Jessica Taylor hopefully on Friday, and on Thursday night, GOP presidential front-runner Donald Trump was its latest victim.
Trumps presumed faux pas was his failure to correct a questioner who asserted that Barack Obama was a Muslim. Taylors real error as a reporter, like that of all her mainstream colleagues, was to dismiss the questioners assertion as a fallacy without providing any evidence to the contrary.
Strange but true, reporters pride themselves on knowing nothing about Obamas roots. Last month, for instance, Catherine Thompson of the popular progressive blog, Talking Points Memo, interviewed me about an article I had written on the subject of Republican presidential eligibility.
Weary of her obvious condescension, I asked her where Obama spent the first year of his life. Indonesia? she answered. No, I said, Seattle. I asked her to survey her colleagues on the same question. Not surprisingly, this was the one exchange she edited out of the interview.
Obamas word, whether on his birth or his faith, is good enough for the center-left media. Although they have chosen to know as little as possible about Obamas Muslim legacy, the legacy is real. Barry was a Muslim, his third grade teacher told the Los Angeles Times in 2007, and he did, in fact, register in school in Indonesia as one.
In his 1995 memoir, Dreams from My Father, Obama gratuitously used the Arabic Andalusia when referring to Spain. In September 2008, in a conversation with George Stephanopoulos set up to quell such rumors, Obama slipped up and referred to my Muslim faith before Stephanopoulos quickly intervened to correct him.

I think Trump handled the follow-up perfectly.
As Mark Levin stated last week, the mediots piled on Trump because he didn’t defend Zero. That really pisses them off.

Yes. You know a tree by its fruit.
You have won the interwebs for the day. Congratulations.
I judge people by the outcomes and consequences of their actions. I look at the outcomes and consequences of Obama’s actions and I am simply not left with the impression that he is a Christian. What he is, I do not know. What he isn’t seems pretty clear however.
The only interview I’ve ever seen where Obama answers the question (from 2004):

Actions speak louder than words.
Obama may not have an Islamic membership card signed by Allah (after all, he doesn’t have a birth certificate either) but it is easy to see what is in his heart just by watching what he does every day and what he has done over the last 7 years.
He grew up in Indonesia and was raised, at that time, as a Muslim. When his mother died he was raised by his atheist/Marxist grandmother. In his later years he attended Black Liberation Movement “church”.
I think he is a athiest Marxist who sees Islam as a tool that he can use for social change.
Obama has no serious religious faith. He's a communist. An atheist. The Black Liberation Theology "church" he attended for 20+ years is bogus. Liberation Theology is a communist-concocted religious movement. It was started back in the 1960s. Black communist James Cone later created the "Black Liberation" version of it that Obama's pastor, Jeremiah Wright, advocated. Communists only use religion to win peoples' trust. They side with the Islamo-facists only because both hate the US and want to destroy it, at least as we know and love(d) it.
DING DING DING... We have a winner.
He is also using Christianity as a tool he can use for social change.
In other words, he is at bottom, an ALINSKYITE.

He was asked — and he responded with a smokescreen of cheap suit double-talk and New Age gobbledygook.
Obama’s Fascinating Interview with Cathleen Falsani: Obama’s “Christian Faith” In His Own Words

From AsiaTimesOnline

"Barack Obama received at least some instruction in the Islamic faith of his father and went with him to the mosque, but the importance of this experience is vastly overstated by conservative commentators who seek to portray Obama as a Muslim of sorts. Radical anti-Americanism, rather than Islam, was the reigning faith in the Dunham household. ...
Barack Obama is a clever fellow who imbibed hatred of America with his mother's milk, but worked his way up the elite ladder of education and career. He shares the resentment of Muslims against the encroachment of American culture, although not their religion. He has the empathetic skill set of an anthropologist who lives with his subjects, learns their language, and elicits their hopes and fears while remaining at emotional distance. That is, he is the political equivalent of a sociopath. The difference is that he is practicing not on a primitive tribe but on the population of the United States.
There is nothing mysterious about Obama's methods. "A demagogue tries to sound as stupid as his audience so that they will think they are as clever as he is," wrote Karl Krauss. Americans are the world's biggest suckers, and laugh at this weakness in their popular culture."

Unholy Alliance: Radical Islam and the American Left

We don’t know definitively. He was a member of a black separatist group cleverly disguised as a Christian church. That doesn’t make him a Christian.
I personally think Louis Farrakhan is a “better” muslim than Obama and he would lose his head if he ever encountered any real committed muslims.
His answer wouldn't matter...Muslims are allowed to lie to infidels whenever they find it convenient to do so. That would include oaths taken.....like an oath of office.....
From The American Thinker:
Obama, Black Liberation Theology, and Karl Marx
May 28, 2008
Just one nugget from the Sacred Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, "Instruction on Certain Aspects of the Theology of Liberation': "...it would be illusory and dangerous to ignore the intimate bond which radically unites them (liberation theologies), and to accept elements of the marxist analysis without recognizing its connections with the (Marxist) ideology, or to enter into the practice of the class-struggle and of its marxist interpretation while failing to see the kind of totalitarian society to which this process slowly leads."
--Joseph Cardinal Ratzinger, Prefect, now Pope Benedict XVI; written in 1984
Understanding that black liberation theology is Marxism dressed up to look like Christianity helps explain why there is no conflict between Cone's "Christianity" [i.e. 'reverend Wright's thing] and Farrakhan's "Nation of Islam." They are two prophets in the same philosophical (Marxist) pod, merely using different religions as backdrops for their black-power aims.

or,
That interview took place at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 27, 2004 and does not contain what can remotely be called a Christian testimony. He refers to the “Christian tradition” and that his solid white mother was “a Christian”.
No testimony there.
Why not ask 0 in front of witnesses now if he prefers Jesus Christ (the Reason for Christianity) over Muhammad and Islam?
What could it hurt? He’s not running for office now, is he...?
