I don’t think the GOPe can do that (give up on Jeb) without losing all credibility. The Dems are as fervently committed to HRC as the GOP is to Jeb. The only way the GOP will drop Jeb is if he drops out, himself. I don’t think he will do that. Just my .02.
Jeb, however, if he makes it to the end and becomes the nominee, virtually guarantees the election of HRC. He’s just that bad. His nomination will IMO be the death of the GOP and the election will be an abysmal embarrassment of historic proportions. You thought people stayed home with Romney?

Billionaire businessman Donald Trump extended his lead in the first prominent post-debate poll released by NBC News Sunday.

Trump was also viewed as “most presidential” among the GOP candidates. NBC News reported:
More than a third of Republican voters say that Carly Fiorina performed best in the Wednesday night debate on CNN. But debate performances don’t translate into vote preference overnight, and Donald Trump maintains his position at the top of the Republican pack, according to the latest NBC News online survey conducted by SurveyMonkey from Wednesday through Friday.
When the candidates’ negative performance percentages are subtracted from their positive percentages, Fiorina emerges the clear winner, with a positive 34, whereas Trump nets a positive 2 among Republican voters who watched or followed the debate coverage. Marco Rubio and Ben Carson also received positive reviews from Republican voters who followed the debate, with net scores of 8 and 5. Rand Paul fared poorly, scoring a negative 13.

I agree with you. Mr. Columba Garnica Gallo Bush has been totally Mexicanized and wussified by his non-English-speaking, non-assimilated wife. I have no respect for a man who would give up his own culture. They should have stayed in Mexico if El Jebito liked it so much.
