Technically, the Constitution would be fine with a Muslim as President — if Islam were strictly a religion. It isn’t. Since Islam’s major tenet is to convert or kill all non-Muslims, a Muslim President would have a conflict of interest. The President’s job is to protect the country.
And as Commander-in-Chief (or “Commander-AND-Chief”, as Obama said — idiot!), he’s over the military whose job it is to “defend against all enemies, foreign and domestic”.
A Muslim as President would be one hot mess, and stunningly dangerous for American citizens.
He is indeed.
