More than a third of Republican voters say that Carly Fiorina performed best in the Wednesday night debate on CNN. But debate performances don't translate into vote preference overnight, and Donald Trump maintains his position at the top of the Republican pack, according to the latest NBC News online survey conducted by SurveyMonkey from Wednesday through Friday.
Debates alone rarely move poll numbers in big ways, and Trump continues to lead the crowded field with 29 percent of Republican and independent voters who lean Republican saying they would cast their vote for him. Ben Carson and Carly Fiorina remain on an upward trajectory, now filling in the second and third spots. Jeb Bush is holding steady at 8%, about the same level of support he's seen since April in NBC News/SurveyMonkey polling. During that same period, Scott Walker has seen his support shrink from 12% to just 3% in our latest poll.
However, nearly a third of Republican voters now say that they expect Donald Trump will be the eventual nominee. When we first asked the question back in April, Trump and Fiorina had not yet announced their candidacies, and Scott Walker was leading the field. Back then, 24% thought Jeb Bush would be the eventual nominee. More than 1 in 5 currently say they don't know who will win, showing that there's still plenty of time for candidates to rise and fall during the next few months, as voters start to make up their minds.

With Trumps solid stand on gun rights I’d say he has it pretty much sewn up, of course I’m wrong about half the time!

Where is Ted?
The have and have nno support is incredible. With numbers like these, and CNN, the next debate should feature maybe just 3-4 candidates. Imagine that in a 3 hour setting.
This poll, by Brian Williams, is as “honest”
as FioRINO’s false statement that she quadrupled HP’s
revenue growth from 2 percent to 9 percent,
whereas it decreased from 7 percent to 3 percent.
HP was a good company.
The author says,
“More than a third of Republican voters say

More likely, a few hundred people on Brian Williams’
‘monkey list’ were called.
Trump will be outed soon for the fraud that he is. Watch out conservatives, you’re being played!
But, but, but . . . all the GOPe said Trump was finished. Then the “Muslim” comment and wow, he’s REALLY finished. (not)
Ted Cruz got 10 minutes out of 3 hours. The goal was to marginalize him and it was successful.
Carly got an uptick in popularity of course she got almost as much time as Trump (and Trump got so much because many of the questions were about him even when they weren’t ASKED of him, “Trump says blah blah blah, what do you think of that... or how did it make you feel when he said of you/your wife...”
From the little kid’s table to the lead. What manipulation.
The toe jam I pick from between my toes would make a better VP than FioRINO.

Yes he does! I would vote for a Trump/Carson ticket any day of the week over a Trump/Fiorina ticket.
And, by the way, Trump will not pick her as his VP.
better to be played by Trump than some GOP establishment hack who will definitely lose.
the media and the establishment keep pushing the angry failed business woman for a reason.
Trump is a RINO, too. Don’t be fooled.
Ted, Senate Leader
But ya know what? NO CONSERVATIVES have done squat in the last 10 years. Nothing! We got lib judges like Roberts (Ok, Alito good, but that's a draw at best); a minor tax cut; nothing on pro-life (the "conservatives" can't even figure out a way to defund PP), nothing on Obamacare, nothing on trade, nothing on fast track. In fact, Cruz voted for most of those, and the Corker Bill.
So when you worry about someone being "outed," sir, it is the GOP. Here. Now. The so-called "conservatives" we have elected---Toomey, Ernst, Paul, Rubio, Scott, Cruz, Sessions (God knows who else) have accomplished ZERO.
I'm not saying many of these fine people didn't vote the right way. But leadership finds a way to get things done, yes, EVEN IN THE MINORITY (ask Harry Reid how he tied up Republican measures for years with a minority).
What you CANNOT claim of Trump is that he is not an American, that he doesn't achieve things, that he has not produced the BEST immigration plan and BEST gun plan of anyone (including Cruz). So you watch out. You're the one being played by the so-called conservatives who talk a great game, but never manage to DO anything.
Yes—I will vote for Trump if he gets the nomination—but I won’t be very enthusiastic about doing it .
