The latest tweet from a Muslim boy who brought a clock to school that was mistaken for a bomb has some people wondering whether he and his family planned this all along.
By now, the story of 14-year-old Ahmed Mohamed who brought to school a homemade clock in a briefcase that looked startlingly like a briefcase bomb, and who was subsequently arrested has gone far and wide, garnering responses from various celebrities, including President Barack Obama, who invited Mohamed to the White House.
There is even a prayer vigil being held for the unharmed child, who appears in his latest tweet to be relishing his time in the spotlight.
That latest tweet stirred a hornets nest of controversy, as it shows Mohamed and his family all smiles with the caption, Going to meet my lawyer.
Several people on social media said the entire incident was planned by Mohamed and his family, and called it a scam.
Perhaps this little spawn of the desert will take a real clock bomb to the White Hut to surprise Barry and his staff.
Maybe it just a way for him to get into the white house. Carry out an evil act?
Building a digital clock should only consist of a few wires, a battery, an oscillator, a display, a chip (perhaps a chipset) and some input devices. It should easily fit into a box the size of a deck of cards - not a SUITCASE.
The only way an adult would mistake a homemade clock with a bomb; was if ever intention was made to make the homemade clock look and appear to be a bomb.
Just as the only way to make a toaster appear to be a bomb, would be to make the package the toaster was within, appear to be a bomb.
One can hope...
Looks like the all American family to me. They look peace loving, have fully assimilated into our culture and are willing to Make America Great Again; probably Tea Party conservatives.
Since when is Islam a race?
This was an intentional , provocative act , and it's timeing around 9/11 cannot be excused.
How many other 'electronic experiments' by this kid exist in his home ,
not many other experiments .., I suspect .
What’s wrong with this photo of 3 happy little Muslims?
If they work well defensively as human shieldsin psuedo-conventional warfare...why not put them at the tip of the spear in asymetrical coup of “change” ?
At what point will we come to understand that Islam is at war with America and ALL of Western Civilization?
Whether we like it or not, we are at war!
Islam is an evil, hate filled death cult and it has been since 622 AD!
When will Western Civilization wake up to the danger these hateful, evil people are to us?
How many more non-Moslem people must die before we get the message?
We’d best figure out how to put the Moslem genie back in the bottle, or we’ll be overwhelmed and annihilated.
Bkmrk.
Ok, you live in AMERICA, take off the friggin head garb!
And: "Going to meet my lawyer Allah," more likely.
The kid is being set up.
It wasn't in a "suitcase." Look at this picture:
The prongs on the ac plug are 1/2 inch apart. That makes this case about 5x7 inches by 2 inches deep. If the empty space was filled with C4 it would still be deadly, or worse if it was just the timer component for something larger.
Or more likely a way to make someone hesitate to take action somewhere at some point in the future when it will be real.
Or go join the Amish.
It was a planned hoax, he did not build a clock, he just took apart an one old clock: http://blogs.artvoice.com/techvoice/2015/09/17/reverse-engineering-ahmed-mohameds-clock-and-ourselves/
Why not just buy one from Walmart for $8?
Now almost every airline will be delayed cause they scanned the same thing in checked luggage, they then ignore them, then one day they all go boom.
Whats next, a muslim sews up a new fashion statement of a vest full of highway flares and pipe fittings?
