Call it empty seat syndrome.
While Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump continues to draw overflow crowds by the thousands this week, Democratic race leader Hillary Clinton and one-time GOP front-runner Jeb Bush have seen their recent crowds dwindle along with their poll numbers.
Bush, the one-time GOP front-runner who was deposed by Trump over the summer, drew only about 100 people to a recreation center in Summerlin, N.V., outside Las Vegas.
It was the former Florida governor's first appearance following Wednesday night's prime-time national GOP primary debate, which brought record-high ratings for CNN.
Also on Thursday, Clinton received a standing ovation at a Boys & Girls Club in Concord, N.H., but found herself speaking to scores of empty seats, especially in the back of the large gymnasium.
At times, it seemed there were more supporters behind Clinton on stage than attendees in the audience.

Frankly, I don’t think either Hillary or Bush has a chance with their respective parties, and it would be nice if they’d just get out of the way. Although I suspect Hillary is going to stay until she gets unceremoniously dumped.

Call me a nervous nelly or a debbie downer, but I mistrust the meaning of these sparse crowds for the uniparty Chosen Ones.
I remember how dispirited and morose the obama events were before the 2014 november elections. They gave me hope. But it turned out to be false hope, a false positive. Despite the unenthusiastic events for him, obama still won.
