Patton and MacArthur in an earlier era would have rolled over the entire region from Saudi Arabia to Pakistan and gotten to the source of the terrorism if this had happened in 1941.

We got another Korea and Vietnam after 9/11 instead of the all out World War 2. We got a new Cold War on terrorism. Just like the Cold War deals with good Communists like China, Yugoslavia and Romania, we got War on Terror deals with ‘good terrorists’ to fight Assad in Syria leading to the Islamic State.

Your statement above is so very true! And I know for sure the present “rules of engagement” would not have lasted 2 seconds in their day! They went to war to win!!

I believe Commander In Chief Trump will bring those into his team to take care of our National Security and the Patton and MacArthur mindset will prevail. Peace through strength!
